Few select people on twitter that I follow for this kind of thing. I know it's twitter so I take it with a grain of salt, but most of them nailed the Klein and Henrik injuries early on.

The only thing I know for sure is that if MSL is going to be on the first line now he needs to stop skating like a newborn calf and stay on his feet to make some plays.

They said someone from htfd will be up after the next game as a spare and Sheppard is in game 1. Id bring up Lindberg.

Huge loss. We need to suck it up and move on, but man this is a big loss. Big blow to SC hopes as well. Certainly can still win it, but I truly believe Zucc is a HUGE part of what we do. Unsung hero on so many levels.

Hank, McD, Girardi, Nash, maybe Stepan after that hard to say any other player on the team would be a bigger loss than Zucc. And considering our depth on D with Klein back, you could argue Zucc is a bigger loss than Girardi would be (still think McD would be worse).

MSL must step up now and actually shoot the puck. And I guess Fast plays with Hayes and Hags. I like Fast, but his O is very limited. That 3rd line is not nearly as scary now. Maybe they move Miller with Hayes and Hags and Fast plays with CK and Stepan.

Hopefully Sheppard can pitch in as well.

    Big loss...

There's going to be many rumors so you have to take them with a grain of salt. The fact is that he's out in definately with a head injury.

Maybe he misses a series best case. Sheppard is useful against an Isles/Caps and Lindberg is skilled/smart enough to step if needed.

Whoever they bring up from Hartford will be a spare. I'd rather have Sheppard in against the Isles and Caps than Lindberg or Mueller. They'll be insurance if there is another injury...

Could have used Stempniak in this situation ...

I rather have Sheppard than Stemp for this series. Big physical team we are playing, and to me Sheppard is better for that.

Yea but after Shep the only depth is Wolf Packers . Last year they had a little more forward depth with Carcillo, Fast, and Miller (before he got hurt) on the bench

Had to give Stemp to get Sheppard (couldn't afford both). We have to hope we stay healthy or a kid like Lindberg can step in if needed. Is what it is. A lot of teams are beat up right now. Isles missing 1/2 their D. Pens were missing players. Just go play. We get Klein back so that is a plus.

Sounds like game 1 Thursday night and game 2 will be at 12 PM Saturday as a Derby lead in for NBC.

Injuries happen so it will have to dealt with. It's a chance for others to step up. At minimum I don't see him playing in round 2.

If it were my call I'd leave lines 2 & 3 as is. I would start Fast or Sheppard with Brass and Nash. A 3rd line of Hags/Hayes/Fast doesn't excite me. I think we are deeper if we leave 2 & 3 as is and bump Fast or Sheppard up to start with.

If you have a fractured skull with blood on the brain, there is no way in hell you out of the hospital in one day. That's moronic.

Huge loss. Sounds like it is very serious. God knows when we will see the hobbit. It sucks on so many levels. Go out there and win for the hobbit.

I tend to agree, but it sounds serious even if it isn't THAT serious. Still could be a long while. We'll see...
