Yes, please stay on topic, DajuanWagner#2, we just had a talk about your quality of posts (or lack there of) and you you still play around? Come on man, help us out. Thanks Karma.
I think we are getting carried away with the "page ownage" stuff. Lets try to keep things on topic and cool down the post padding.
Z Will Be Traded!!! http://www.insidehoops.com/nba_rumors.shtml "The Cavaliers are going to trade Zydrunas Ilgauskas, not because they want to, but because they simply have to. It hasn't been said in so many words and if you ask any of the parties involved directly, they'd say such a suggestion was premature. But every day, it looks more and more like an absolute certainty. Cavaliers coach Paul Silas said all that needed to be said this week when asked what pieces were still missing from the Cavaliers' quest to become an Eastern Conference contender. ``We need a big-timer,'' Silas said. ``Where everybody knows he's the man.'' Akron Beacon Journal Stupid!!!! Tonight shows why!!!! To annoyed to say anything more! Also from the same sight! "Cavs coach Paul Silas has not broached the subject with former Knick coach Don Chaney yet because he's been unable to reach him since his dismissal last month. But Silas says he is thinking about asking Chaney to come to Cleveland next season as an assistant, thinking he'd be a solid influence on LeBron James. "It's certainly a possibility," Silas told The Post. "He's a special man." NY Post    We have weak assistants. This would be a good move!
Well the bait is big right now with the way Z is playing. Would really depend on what we get in return.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Well the bait is big right now with the way Z is playing. I dont understand completely peoples fascinationation of wanting to deal a unique talent!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Give me a deadly shooter that can score 15-17 every single game and I'll be happy.</div> And who may that person/s be?????
I know Jason Terry dogs it in Atlanta, but I know he can be a 17, 7, and 5 player and of course is a deep threat. I know many don't like him however though, but I would be willing.
Since it will be Z's last year on his contract next season, it is will probably be his last year here.

We would be severely weakened with a Battie/Diop center pairing
Diop made huge strides this year and I am safe with him being our future center as long as he is healthy. With Battie health is also the issue because of his knees. Healthy though I would be fine with both of those 2.
The last thing you guys should do is get rid of Eric Williams, many fans don't realise how big an impact this guy has on games. He was the key in your turnaround.
If we don't have Z next season we better keep Williams because he gives us another scoring post presence that we would need.

Diop has made strides, but he is still far from being a capable backup backup. He has played around 10 solid games this year. Pretty much 1 in 4 he contributes. I am not confident that he can be relied on. Add to that Batties continual health problems as well as Diops, we have on ourselves 2 very unreliable players. I like Battie, he just gets hurt too often. Z has become a safe player when it comes to breaking down this past two seasons compared to the other two. Diop to me is a career backup! I hope he can breakout, but I dont think that breaking out will be too much either! Z to me has 4 good years left in him after this one! I'd like them to be in the wine and gold!
Diop won't be a scorer, but I am sure he can get somewhere around 10-12 PPG when it's alls aid and done. Diop was already beating out Z for crunch time minutes because he changes the game defensively. His improved ability to hit that 15 foot set shot is pretty solid too. Of clourse he is not ready now, maybe not even next year, but he is still very young and the progress he is making is just fine.

So if we rid Z, Diop is thrown to the wolves as Battie will likely miss games. Diop is progressing (although he couldn't possibly slide) and can be a contributor. Also Z is a changed player since the times Diop came in the 4th!
Diop is more of a contributor than ya think brah, his d in many 4th quarters has won us ball games. A handful of times he had his hand in the shooters face/changed his shot (which was the final shot of the game) to get a win for us. Last year he was in terrible shape and was in the top 5 in the entire league on blocked shots per 48 minutes. Before Diop got these 2 injuries where was Z in these 4th quarters? The bench. I will credit Z of course, he has stepped it up....he had to or else he would have been gone, he knew that.
