Two possible Nets/Blazers deals (according to NYDN)

This deal seems like wishful thinking by local reporters more so than a legit trade possibility. Its not that it isn't a reasonable idea so much as the fact that the Blazers could get much more value for Rahim. A young PF with an expiring contract that will likely average 20 and 10 for the...

    Allan Houston

Houston has never been great at attacking the basket in the NBA. He has the size and athleticism necessary (he once participated in the Slam Dunk Contest) but always preferred to stay outside and shoot. Early in his career it may have been because he shied away from contact for fear of injury...

    Stephon Marbury Traded To Knicks

Unfortunately they did give up two first rounders. Including thier 1st rounder for the 2004 NBA draft so it is unconditional. So if the Knicks can't turn things around right away and make the playoffs they are short a lottery pick. With the current roster the best NY can hope for is making...

    Stephon Marbury Traded To Knicks

They are better this year, but you have to wonder about the Knicks' future. Marbury will be good for some time, but Penny probably only has one or two productive years left. His salary doesn't bother me too much because the Knicks wouldn't be able to get under the cap untill his deal expired...

Isaiah makes his first move: Weatherspoon for Norris

I don't hate Ward at all. I think he is a very usefull back-up PG. However, the Knicks seem to be comitted to starting Frank Williams and with Howard Eisley/Moochie Norris/Charlie Ward backing him up they have little need to keep all 3 backups around. So it turns out that 4 million in cap...

Isaiah makes his first move: Weatherspoon for Norris

This move basically saves the Knicks a little bit of cash and all but seals Charlie Ward's fate. If Ward is not dealt by Jan 15, he will be cut allowing the Knicks to save about 4 million in cap space.

    Knicks Eyeing Jason Terry

Terry would be a good fit for the Knicks because he is such an effective scorer and his contract is just about right for a player of his caliber. However he is a base-year compensation player until training camps open for the '04-'05 season (give or take a month or two) which makes him almost...

    Ratliff a Knick?

With Ratliff, would the Knicks really be much better off than they were with Camby? Look on the bright side! Knicks have about 38 million coming off the books after the 2006-'07 season!

    Kidd in a Jazz uniform?

Kidd Stays Home I'll be surprised if Kidd leaves, especially if the Nets make it back to the finals this year. The only reason he'd jet is if he feels he has a better chance to win a championship on another team. Read He probably isn't leaving, but if he does, he'll end up in San Antonio.
