I've only read this last page, but fwiw, warming is supposed to be associated with increased precipitation, which includes snowfall. The atmosphere's generally going to be holding more moisture. Sorry if this point was made earlier.

Yeah, I've noticed my roommate's computer is much faster than mine, despite having pretty much the same processor speed and the same RAM. It might be partially be her hard drive- but I already bought the same 5200 version. The other thing I think it is that she runs XP.
