Trade Boone before his value drops

Can someone give me a reason why we would want Camby? I'll be the first to admit the guy was a monster last year, but we're not going deep into the playoffs until 2011, when Camby will be 37. Who thinks he'll be productive then? Denver needs him a lot more than we do. As for Boone vs Sean, I...

    Sean Williams only 6'7 / 6'8?

    Possible trade with Charlotte Bobcats?

Both teams pass. Nets would do it if they were getting Felton and Wallace cheap past 2010, which they aren't. Bobcats don't want someone like Carter next to JRich.

    Feeling better today

Yeah, Boone was probably our best big last year, but I think he's also the closest to hitting his ceiling (he averaged 11/10 in Jan, before slowing down a bit). If any of our bigs should be traded it should be him, because IMO his market value is highest relative to his abilities and potential...

    Feeling better today

In regard to Krstic's trade status, I'm afraid the Nets could very well just be trying to represent a strong hand. We have 6 other game-ready PFs and Cs on the roster, and they've mostly got Krstic's skillset covered. If Lopez was a big, athletic, physical guy, then things might be different...

My guess is that Van Horn will not actually play

Don't expect to see Van on the sidelines unless he feels like it, which I doubt. Nets might not even bother putting him on injury list... there's probably something in his contract that says the team cannot fine him or anything like that for being an absentee.

    Sean Williams' Offensive Potential

He needs to learn how to make things easy for himself. I've watched most every game and haven't seen him give one shot fake. That turnaround might someday be a nice weapon, but he if he wants to really become a threat he's going to have to work on his ball handling. His main advantage over...

Smith tells Williams to enter Dunk Contest

Sean doesn't strike me as a very flashy player (like RJ), so I doubt he'd do well unless he stuck to simple but impressive dunks (from the foul line, elbow in the rim, etc). I'd like to see that.</p>

    How tall is Sean really?

Garnett is also bigger and longer then Bosh, who is in turn bigger and longer than Williams. I'm not saying Sean should put on 30 pounds, but Amare is 145 and that doesn't seem to have hurt his athletic ability or quickness much. Sean was getting mauled by Pau last night.</p>

    How tall is Sean really?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ghoti)</div><div class='quotemain'></p> I agree. I think his frame is better suited to being lean.</p> As he gets older, he'll naturally start to fill out and get bigger. There's no need to rush it or do anything to slow him down.</p> His body is one of the...

    How tall is Sean really?

My only point is that when you add muscle, you are in effect adding explosiveness. It's like putting a hundred pound weight in a car and then turbochargin the engine. The only thing that's going to change is maneuverability.</p> I agree it would be one thing if he just worked on his upper...

    How tall is Sean really?

<span class="text">"Sean Williams is a beast. If you haven&rsquo;t seen him play yet, try and catch him, and not just for fantasy-junkie purposes. The best part is that, as Marv Albert and Mark Jackson were discussing in last night&rsquo;s broadcast against the Lakers, he&rsquo;s really only...
