And like I said in the last paragraph in the first post, I think he has more ability than he regularly shows, but he his mindset and approach seems to limit that and he never looked comfortable being a playmaker when Maryland put him in those positions. That is kind of why I like comparing him...
Did you watch Parsons at Florida? He was a Point Forward and had the ball a lot as a primary playmaker on that team. I fully agree I wouldnt have expected Parsons to be what he is now, but his progression makes sense. Everyone knew he could create and be dynamic, but his shooting was a big...
I came back just to see what people where saying about Layman. I loved him out of the draft as a 2nd round sleeper, but I'm always appalled by how stupid his comparisons are. Every comp says "Hayward" or "Parsons".
The reason why I loved Layman was because he is an athletic and big wing who can...
Jazz PF's were awful. They really let early missed shots get to them and they didn't shoot with confidence. I kind of expected this to be a bad matchup for Diaw, but I expected him to hit some shots. Really if I had to point to one thing being the difference in the game, it was Vonleh's game...
Really great. We took a very good team to the final two minutes missing 3 of our top scorers from last season, two of them who are far and away our best players. I hate moral victories, but I was happy with the way we played. Just couldn't overcome a ridiculous shooting night from the Blazers.
He will be a nice addition when he comes back, but not someone I fear at all. Will be a decent backup though. His brick hands will probably frustrate you.
Well if teams let Joe post their PG 3 feet from the basket I think he can do something similar most nights, maybe with less volume. :)
The late game adjustment on it was nice by the Blazers.
Well the thought is that Joe and Diaw are playing off the bench to help with the early 4th quarters, not having to play 9 minuets to keep us afloat because we are missing 2 of our best players. But keep thinking that somehow Utah having Favors and Hayward would somehow lessen our performance...
