OT NBA season suspended & NCAA cancelling all sports for coronavirus

They will come back. I just don't think it will be this or next year. Maybe 2022.

    Around the NBA: February 2020

There is never the right time to get an injury like this but I'm glad he at least managed to get that $31.5million contract from Indiana last Summer and secure his future. If he had got the same injury last year, he would have been left without contract for a year and then probably playing out...

    Blazers Odds

60-1 would actually suggest we have about 1.6% chance to win it, which is obviously wrong. 500-1 sounds more realistic at 0.2%.

    Playoff Watch 2020

Wow I didn’t realize their schedule was that difficult. I’d be surprised if they are at 38 wins at the end of season. But I’m not sure they will need to be to make the playoffs.

    Time to trade CJ

That’s the thing, CJ is not super young with loads of room to improve. He is who he is, he will be 29 in September and he’s not going to get much better. I think he can be second or third best player for a contender but not when the best player on that team is a point guard with similar set of...

    Game Thread GAME# 56: BLAZERS @ GRIZZLIES - FEBRUARY 12, 2020 - WEDNESDAY, 5:00 PM, NBCSNW

I don't think Warriors, Kings, Suns and Timberwolves are "in the hunt". Grizzlies 45% Pelicans 25% Blazers 20% Spurs 10% Field 0% That's how I'd rate it.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

Has to be Harkless, Robinson, one of Mann/Kabengele and 2020 first. Unless they offer Kuzma Lakers won’t be able to match or beat that offer.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

They have essentially traded Crowder for Winslow. The other pieces don’t really matter. As long as Winslow is healthy they might do well.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

    Why? Wiggins isn’t good.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

Wolves by far. Russell is good. Wiggins is not.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

Not sure about that Iguodala move from Miami’s perspective. Winslow was basically their only trade piece left and they use him to acquire old Iguodala who hasn’t played basketball in 8 months. Then again Winslow’s value is probably not that high and having expiring Iguodala might come useful...

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

Yeah it’s super likely they’d trade Capela and a first round pick to get Whiteside who’s basically the same player only older.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

He is definitely more interested in their bottom line than on court success. I do not understand Westbrook trade in the light of this though.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

DeMarre Carroll would be fine with trade exception I guess but the cost would be too high considering luxury tax.

    NBA Trade Deadline: February 6

Kennard to Suns would make so much sense for both teams. Detroit probably won’t be good for another 5-6 years so it’d be a waste to keep him, Suns could use an elite shooter and their first round pick does sound like all right compensation.
