Agreed. This team has to play almost perfect on defense to be a good team. So far in pre-season not always getting back, not rotating quick enough.

I haven't seen us doing much cutting at all pre-season, even though Billups is always emphasizing it in practice.

With Toumani out, Grant could try to prove he belongs in the starting lineup. But the worse thing he could do would be to try to do too much.

If he wants to play like Jokic, the first thing he needs to do is develop a very reliable short range shot. Everything Jokic does depends on that. Right now he has nothing.

But what about my guy Noa Essengue? Only one game. shot 50% and 5 rebounds in 14 minutes. Not much to go on yet. he's so young, might be a year or two...
