Scoot Henderson is kicking ass Scoring-wise. Way better than his teammates (except one).
I don't know why, when Scoot was making every 3-pointer in the first half, Deni Avdija and the team were looking for anyone else to take 3-pointers.
Why are Camara and Clingan taking 3-pointers instead of Scoot?
4 attempts per game for Clingan at 16.7%, and 4.7 attempts for Camara at 28.6%. WHY?
This Scoot we're seeing in the Playoffs is a perfect partner for Deni Avdija. Avdija draws a lot of the defense to himself.
(Scoot would be great with Dame too.)
But after the defense collapses they have to get Scoot the ball when he's open. Make the extra pass sometimes!
The first guy that catches it doesn't have to shoot.

One other guy, Robert Williams III, is getting it done at a high level. Shout out to the Timelord!

Grant with a 4.7 PER. So glad we are paying him all that money. He is sure earning it.

Crazy how damn late game 3 was and how early game 4 is.

Then two days later game 5 is late. Should have more consistency.

I'm in CT and falling asleep last game but will be busy with family for today game. Players biological clock will be even worse.

I am worried they will come out despondent. Like we are going to lose just go through the motions.
Please no. At least go down fighting.
I actually believe that even in the 4th quarter last game they were fighting. The problem is they were also lost. Like a toddler in a pool with arm booies.
To win this game - fighting is not enough. They need gameplan that has sets, for each player. Mainly on offense. We were able to keep them below 110 most games (excluding garbage time), but they were able to keep us below 100. To win the series - we need firepower and offense that can reach 120+. This is on the coaching staff far more than depending for specific guy having a good shooting night. Deni misses? move to Sharpe and Scoot, they can't score? run 3's to Camara and Alley Hoops to Clingan and Rob - they can't score? run a moving offense until you get a free shot no matter who shoots it. Seems easy isn't it?

minor annoyance but becoming more impactful.... we need three different subscriptions to watch four playoff games.

i signed up for peacock for the month since the antenna signal for NBC is too weak in my area to watch games 1 & 2.

i was already paying for prime for game 3.

now i need to pay at least 45/month to watch ESPN for games 4 & 5. f -- that. i found direct tv stream offering a free trial for 5 days. if our series goes beyond game 5 on espn, i need another email address i guess.

all this after paying for league pass for 14 straight years. there has to be a better way.

Yes there is a better way. Use a VPN (like NordVPN) with League Pass (regular American subscription). Then you will get all the games in one place, regular season and post-season.
If you get League Pass Premium, you won't even have commercials and you'll see the in-arena feed during breaks. (Plus you get 3 streams instead of the 1 that you get on regular League Pass).
It might not work for everyone depending on your internet connection.

It was sad during the 4th quarter seeing Scoot taken out of the game and watching Clingan miss a 3-pointer then Camara miss a 3-pointer on the same possession. That's just shitty offense. Pretending that either of these two is making those shots against San Antonio.

what's the betting on Wemby playing/not-playing?

I'm sure Spurs would like to end it in 5, but the odds of the Blazers winning 3 of 4 seem really small

If we add ESPN+ add-on subscription to Prime, does that have the game or do you have to get regular ESPN through a live TV provider like DirecTV stream or YouTube TV or Sling TV, Hulu Live.....etc...? I'm getting confusing info from Google.

If I were the Spurs, I wouldn’t play Wemby until the team loses another game. The league won’t let them lose the series to us because of the injury.

I want to see what Splitter does getting Scoot open 3-pointers.

If Clingan, Camara, and Deni are taking anything like the 11 combined 3-pointer last game, only making 2 of them, then Scoot Henderson should be told to shoot a three every time he has an open uncontested three. He should get 20 attempts or something like that seeing how badly every else is shooting.

Scoot in the three games, has shot 50%, 55.6%, and 50% in each game on 3-pointers.

which means he's due for a 2-for-11 game

Blazers can't count on Scoot bailing them out from the arc....and they should not have Clingan shooting any three's at all. And Deni needs to moderate his whistle-fishing. Camara is averaging under 7 points while shooting 30% on FG's. Grant is averaging 8 while shooting 28% on FG's. Sharpe is averaging 8 while shooting 39% on FG's and 14% on three's. Clingan is shooting 17% on three's but is throwing up 4 a game. "throw up" seems appropriate. Other than the last 6 minutes of the 4th Q of game 2, and the first 22 minutes of Game 3, the Blazers have pretty much sucked

yeah, a lot of fingers are need to plug all the holes

The Spurs "spoiler alert " even without Wemby they are a better team and should be fine without him for this series so why rush him if the ultimate goal for them is a chance for a ring this year. My goals for the rest of the series is play the Spurs hard and keep it a competitive game for 3 to 3 1/2 quarters before falling to them.

On an individual level looking for these things before this series ends --

1) DC bounce back a little and show the grit etc that we saw specially during the 2nd half of the season.
2) Scoot continues to show why he might have started his career slow but his time is now.
3) Sharpe needs to show some sign of life cause I am about to declare him DOA for this team and his future on it.
4) Deni -- he needs to stop letting the refs get in his head and just play his game -- put his head down and fuck the refs cause they are what they are.
5) Camara - He needs to loosen up he like Sharpe and Dc has shrunk in the moment so he needs to show signs of life too.

There is no better way to maximize NBA profits than this ripoff scheme.

It’s all about that TV schedule…..could care less about fans viewing preferences unfortunately

Any word yet if that really tall dude who’s kinda good is playing?
Not a word. If I’m the Spurs I sit him. No need to even roll him out there to be honest. Lakers are down guys, Rockets, now Wolves….. wouldn’t want to even take the chance.
