They wanted to "move on and start with a strong, young core and focus on a fresh reset and youth and strength."

Lolololololololomlmaolmaolmfao

Deni was only 23 then and now they acquire AD and how old and broken is HE???????? "DNP" AD has now been officially shut down for the rest of the season. What a joke. If you think it's bad being a Blazers fan sometimes, imagine how the Wizard fans feel! Oh and they also got Trey who is no spring chicken, either. But yeah, let's get rid of Deni to go younger and actually end up getting too old dudes.

W.T.F.

Probably a good thing the Blazers didn't trade for him.

Trae Young is 27. Thats not old by any means.

I like the moves the Wizards went for. They got two all star level players for almost nothing.

They also have Sarr who is probably better than any young prospect we have (other than Deni of course).

Carrington and Coulibaly seem like they could be fine. They also have Kyshawn George who looks like he could blossom.

They also are going to get a top 5 pick this year in a loaded draft.

I don't think there is much to laugh at. The Deni trade sucked but meh. We gave away Dame for some picks and Camara. Worked out fine for us but sucked at the time.

Love the Davis and Trae additions, they gave up almost nothing. Wish we could have Davis either to roll the dice he gets healthy or for trades in the summer. Players like that are way better than us paying Jeremi Grant 160 million or the other irrelevant vets we've cycled through.

Obviously Deni move wasn't good. But the current wiz management has been pretty good the last few years if you look at where their roster is now.

Well, wtf? That's not a condescending, snarky take. How dare you sir!

Here's a question... will the Wizards go all in around Trae and AD in the off season or flip both of them and stay on the youth rebuild???

I think they go all in, they trade their high lotto pick for another big time player to play with Trae and AD, they trade Sarr (hopefully to us) and another of their young guys for a high level role player and they go for it.

AD will never get healthy. Please tell me you're joking! AD makes Matisse look like a bonified IRON MAN!

Last time I checked, 27 is older than 25 and Deni was only 23 when they so wisely traded him away for Bub and a much older Malcom Brogdon. And we didn't give away Dame! Are you serious? Dame WANTED out and we got great additions because of the TRADE.

If they follow their genius modus operandi, maybe they WILL trade Sarr away and get back an aged, decrepit disaster like such as say...umm... LBJ? Jordan went to the Wizards, right? Maybe LBJ SHOULD go there. It's basically the hospice center or assisted living facility (read: senior citizen home) of the NBA.

Wait, I had to re-read your post several times. Are you saying AD would be better than having Jerami Grant? ADNP makes much more than JG. And he is perpetually broken. You breathe on his sad ass the wrong way and he strains his glass groin!

This is what AD stands for:

Always Down

Acquiring Damage

Another Deactivation

Anthony DON'T!!!

Athletic Disaster

Absence Due

Ailing Daily

Accidentally Disabled

Availability Denied

Ancient Decrepit

Canthony Playvis

Seriously, you LOOK at this dude's unibrow (which is the worst idea to make yourself stand out since Rodman wore a wedding dress and all the feminine accoutrements, yet is indeed smarter than everyone punching giant holes in their ears and wearing gauges, which is the most moronic idea for self-branding, unless your idea of branding is to advertise: hey, look at me! I'm a mindless sheep who wants to do what everyone else is doing and mutilate my ears and broadcast my stupidity on each side of my vapid head!

---sorry, I got sidetracked.

You look at AD's unibrow and he gets a detached retina!!!

You shake his hand and he gets advanced arthritis.

You give him that friendly NBA buttocks pat and he has ass cancer in the next HOUR!

You reach out to pull him back on his feet and his whole arm comes out of the socket and pulls away in your hands. Is this guy a leper? Should he be wearing 100 yards of ace bandages and bells????

Groin Spasms??????? The F is that??? Don't we all get those tool tremors bi-hourly and we don't walk to the locker room and sit out games where you're getting paid 60 mil a year to PLAY??

I meant we gave away Dame for basically nothing. Sure, he wanted out, but what do we have to show for it? Our main players after the dealing was done were Ayton and Brogdon. Camara was a throw in and recently drafted late 2nd rounder. The picks are nice but have not done anything for us yet.

27 isn't old. You said he was no spring chicken. Thats not even someone's prime yet.

They literally gave up almost nothing for both Davis and Trae.

I don't see it, that roster isn't contending and current wiz management is pretty good.

I think they just saw Trae AD as buy low all-stars. If they bounce back and the team wins maybe then they would trade for another vet.

Maybe they get another buy low all-star if one is available. I don't see them trading Sarr or the pick though.

Wizards and Jazz have had years their picks is protected so they've tanked to keep it. That ends for both teams this season.

Think we might see less tanking next season with both those teams trying to win, maybe others.

Huh? Our best player, Deni, is a derivative of the Dame trade. Our best defender, Toumani, came from the Dame trade. Oh yeah, we control multiple years of draft picks from a team who completely crashing down right now.

I literally said that the picks havent done anything for us YET. We could end up using them on another Yang where they become worthless.

I also mentioned that Camara was essentially a throw in. A guy drafted in the late 2nd that ended up working out. Thats great but If a gm is trading a superstar for a guy they believe in yet passed on in the draft, your team has problems.

I suppose we can say Deni was acquired by the Dame trade. Which was a good move. It certainly is three degrees of separation. I don't think the Wizards valued Brogdon much more than an expiring contract. But the pick counts and was acquired by flipping Jrue. That was certainly a bad move for the Wizards.

Just not sure how someone can laugh at them for acquiring Trae and AD for literally a bag of pocket lint.
