FYI, some of your information at the beginning of the article regarding how much the Blazers could/would pay a buyout candidate is incorrect. I detailed a lot of the minutiae of that in the Markieff Morris thread.
My bigger question is how damaging is it to waive and stretch Moe and ET?

JUST TWO! Can almost guarantee you NO doesnt move both, and I was sort of kidding, but seriously how else do we convince stotts to get them off the court...No reason to. They become assets next season. Wait, and trade them. The Blazers still have 3 stretched contracts they are paying off, and are nearly rid of. Add 3 more?

Could be used for a lot of things, that they probably wont be, heh...We’d be better off keeping them. They both become assets after the season as expirings. Could be used to acquire a big contract like Blake, Gordon, or Hayward (just examples)
Does Neil read this article?
Hahaha. Good one.Does Neil read this article?

Things were not the same for the Portland Trail Blazers at the trade deadline this year. Former owner Paul Allen passed away earlier this season and his sister, Jody Allen, is now in charge. “It was different,” said Neil Olshey...“Jody wasn’t sending me links from rumors off of Hoops Hype involving other teams. Paul really enjoyed that part of it.
For some reason I thought Pau had retired.Pau Gasol wants out of SA...he'll probably be bought out...not happy with his minutes ..now that's a vet to teach our young bigs about footwork...elite hoops IQ guy...fits the culture..I think Pau would be great here starting at PF next to Nurk...let him start at PF and give him some burn. Chief can come off the bench..Dame ..CJ...Jake...Pau...Nurk...nice starting core..bring in Curry, Chief , (Hood/ET and Collins/Leonard)....those use for offense/defense tag team until someone clearly earns the spot
Harkless?I expected this to be a list of the 10 blazers you want to get bought out of their contracts.
barfo
Can you imagin Teodosic throwing lobs to Jake of finding Hood with no-look passes for '3'?
No no no no no! The only time we should buy them out or waive them is after the trade deadline if they're still on the roster (please don't be).My bigger question is how damaging is it to waive and stretch Moe and ET?
Could you imagine how much worse hed make our bench defensively?

Lol, I wouldnt take that comment too seriously. No no no no no! The only time we should buy them out or waive them is after the trade deadline if they're still on the roster (please don't be).
Stretching either would be beyond dumb.
I know, I wasn't.Lol, I wouldnt take that comment too seriously.

I would love to see them not playing anymore though, one of them tries about 1 out of every 5 games or so the other one just doesnt seem to fit in this system and they both take minutes from guys who I think are better.I know, I wasn't.![]()
Exactly, so itd be bad to add another oneStotts doesn't seem to care about guard defense. He keeps playing CJ huge minutes when he's not making shots.... due to his lock down defensive abilities I imagine.![]()
