09. Fallout: New Vegas ::Will play it, probably will buy it. Lol
08. BioShock 2 ::I need to play it because I enjoyed the first.

06. Alan Wake ::I might buy it if I like it. Seems pretty cool.

04. Heavy Rain
03. Halo: Reach ::Halo fan, why wouldn't I get it.
02. Mass Effect 2 ::I loved Mass Effect, bough both DLCs for it.

Theres a few games on this list that I will probably play and or get. Battlefield Bad Company II, Brink, Dust 514, and Metro 2033.

I was interested in Fallout: New Vegas, until I found out that Bethesda won't be making it and it'll be going back to roots as a top down, turn-based game, at least this is what I was told today. I was also told that it in all likelihood, it's going to be pushed back because of a lawsuit between Bethesda and the original company that made the game, so who knows. Gears Of War holds little interest to me, though I'm interested where the story is going to go. Alan Wake is going to be a game that could contend for GOTY that not a lot of people are talking about, it looks absolutely fantastic. Halo: Reach, I imagine, will be good, since it's Bungie's last hurrah in the Halo franchise before handing it over to Microsuck, though I hate Halo, so I won't be checking it out. Bioshock 2 is going to be amazing, and is my early pick for GOTY. The game that I think will contend for it for me isn't even on this list, and that's Splinter Cell: Conviction.
 
One of the games that isn't mentioned better be Half Life 2: Episode 3, for fuck's sakes.

Obsidian has made a few games and the commonalities are that they are well written, well presented, and very glitchy.
 
New Vegas has the same engine as Fallout 3...

I played the MAG beta, it's pretty fun, I might consider picking it up. Its out in January though and I tend to not buy games during school term so timing might be off. FF13, if it comes out in Canada is a must. Ditto for GT5. Fallout sounds pretty cool but my comp isn't good enough to run it and I heard the PS3 version of Fallout 3 was bad so I am assuming the same for this one until further notice. Bioshock 2 could be cool, I've been meaning to play the first one, I'll see how that goes. I know COD7 is being made by Treyarch and it should be not that great but I'll probably be suckered into buying it, I bought WaW....

How crazy is MAG? I would like to hear some of the feedback from you. COD7 better not be something cheesey.
 
I want to get FF13 sooo bad but I fucking hate RPG's when the main character is a girl. The main character is a girl correct? I haven't played FF since 10 and I liked that one...

Hmm well the best part I found was just the size of the games. But to be honest, the graphics for the beta were kinda bad, controls took some time to get used to(mainly cause I am used to MW2).
The leveling up system seems kinda limited, but this was the beta though, and I only played as one faction. Oh yeah each faction has faction specific guns, I am pretty sure of this. For example the faction I used, all their assault rifles were of the AK variety.

If you get into a game where guys work together and get into it, that makes the game that much more fun.

If you're into multiplayer FPS's, this game is fun.

Damn, wish the 360 had MAG. I've always tracked the game because it looked so awesome. Hopefully its a start to something new and great.

Sorry for bring this back from the dead but.. How did #1, #2, #4, #6, #7 and #8 do?! God Of War is one of the best games out there, Mass Effect 2 is still pretty badass but it does need more free DLC, Heavy Rain has a crazy awesome story, Alan Wake is a killer game, GT5 nuff said, BioShock 2 lived up to its name imo and I still haven played Halo Reach or New Vegas yet. Defiantly some of the best games out there.

Yeah the list worked out pretty well. None of these games bombed. The ones that haven't come out yet are more or less guaranteed to be big too. Good year for gaming if a bit heavy on sequels.

The list didn't include Mario Galaxy 2 which got fabulous reviews, StarCraft 2, Red Dead Redeption, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
