The number one reason to Love Sheed is that he is fucking gone from the Blazers organization
Best PF to ever wear a Blazers jersey and has a ring.
All of the sudden Rasheed is considered a better post player than Tim Duncan and a better defender than Kevin Garnett

How quickly people forget how great Sheed was. There was a time when Sheed's back to the basket game was the best in the league and he was the best defensive 4. I still think Duncan learned a lot of his game from playing against and guarding Sheed early in his career.
One screwed up Game 7 of WCF and Sheed would have walked on water and revered by Blazermania. The guy was an unbelievable talent, sure he wasn't a saint, but his talent was undeniable.
From 98' to 03' he was.

Garnett was on the NBA All-Defensive Team in every one of those years except 1998, and Rasheed wasn't on any of them
Mike and Mike homerism in this thread
Sheed disappeared in that 4th quarter. That was his moment, as the best player and franchise player, and he choked. It took Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, and Ben Wallace, along with an injured Laker team, to get him a title.

Mo Lucas was the best PF to ever play for the Blazers. Sheed was a SF in a PF's body.
That team had everything. sigh.
