It's often not what a person says but how they say it bro....Sly said you were yelling at the ref...even if you're right..that's a no no…..Sly's pretty objective..it's all good...let it go. Personally I think the ref shouldn't give any T's in this sort of competition..sounds like the game had a lot of tension as it was...you played well from what I saw in the other games posted here...be proud! We're proud of you guys.

I played in a rec league 20 years ago where my teammate got a tech for clapping and saying "keep it clean guys" after a scuffle had happened.
He didn't deserve the tech at ALL.

Then he proceeded to lose his shit and walk away screaming and pulled his pants down and told the ref to kiss his ass.

Didn't see from the front but I was told the families in the stands got a frontal view.

nah....I am what I am.....just followin' the thread....I don't do the come to Jesus bit...don't confuse my post with a "need"....I understand you're feelin' testy...I'm calm as can be...sorry you guys lost. Wasn't there. Going off Sly's bystander observation is all.

When that guy came up to me after the game I thought he was bushleague.
Anytime I've ever hurt someone Ive made sure before action continued that, the guy knew it was unintentional and I apologized to him. Making sure to get an acknowledgement from him.

That guy coming up to me after the game. After he mocked me. Was just out of line imo.

I made the decision this year to be much more mellow. But that guy needed to go.
Sad thing is the ref who t'd @dviss1 up. Asked me before I shot the free throw if he apologized to me.
I told the ref no.

I feel like you try to tell others how they should act a little too much, even if it's well-intentioned and fair.

Dviss is a standup guy standing up for a teammate who just got rocked who the refs are trying to force into the game. He was pretty loud but he wasn't demonstrative or screaming, and wasn't disrespectful. It's exactly what he should've done. The refs should know the rules so they know how to act in case someone actually is concussed. I would've done the same, and even had a dude mock "concussion protocal" and laugh, to which I had to tell him wasn't a joke, and not something he should joke about... proceeded to have the dude square up to me and ask "what're you gonna do?".

Shit ain't a joke.

Honkicracker still has meaning for me. But I've always understood it's not PC.
@dviss1 and you made a good point tho. It's rough for others who don't know the meaning behind it to call me it.
