The Heat travel to New Jersey on Friday, for a rematch of last week's game, and last year's second round playoffs. The Shaq-less Heat will have Alonzo Mourning starting at center, in place for the injuried Shaq. Alonzo, a hated man in New Jersey, comes into the game averging 5.5 points, 3.3 boards, and 1.75 blocks.

~Contain Dwyane Wade. The Nets did a pretty good job of doing this last game, and forcing him to pass the ball, but they didn't do a good job, defending the open man.

~ Get Vince and Jefferson going from the begining. When Vince and Jefferson are hot, they are almost unstoppable to defend. It would also help if they drive in, and try to get to the line, as both players went 21-26 combined, from the line on Wendsday.

~ Bench needs to step up. When the bench plays well, the Nets seem to finish off with a W. The bench on Wendsday night was not all that great, but enough to help the Nets pull off the win. Second year man Antoine Wright needs to keep up the level he played at on Wendsday, leading the bench with 15 points. Rookie Marcus Williams also contributed with 8 points and 2 assists but also had 3 turnovers. Both players also hit a 3-point shot.

~ Get Wade going. Once Wade gets going he is almost unstoppable to stop. Wade seems like he does it all now and may be hard to stop. Even if the Nets did a good job last game.

~ Defense is key. The Heats defense has to step up in order for them to pull of the win. Alonzo Mourning is a force on the inside, and can alter and block shots with the best in the league.

~ Role players need to step it up. I know Haslem has been having a good season as of far, but Wade and Haslem can't do it by themselves. Walker, Posey, and Payton all need to step up and hit big shots in order for the Heat to pull of a win.

Both are explosive players, who can go inside and outside, there performance will be key to a win for their respective teams.

Nice preview...too bad Shaq is going to be out. The more the Nets can practice against the Heat with Shaq the better the Nets will get against Miami.

We should win this game, along with the last game we played against them. What's stopping the Nets? Themselves.......and maybe Wade.

Shaq isn't playing which means their is a bigger chance that we will win. Wade will be hard to contain, but we will hopefully win.

The second unit is playing well on both ends. It feels good to know we actually have a bench that contributes.

Not to metion the fact we are missing Boone and House, who should be a big part of our bench.

Nachbar with the 3 baby!

Oh great, RJ is out with a sprained ankle.

Not to mention, we're playing like crap right now.

Wow, now Carter is leaving.

RJ sprained his ankle and Vince like cut his shooting hand.

Awful, disgusting, you choose the word to describe the game. We had the game in the bag, and then Miami took over. We had no answers for them, and that's just really upsetting. To make things worse, RJ is injured.

Well here are the stats.....
Kidd 12pts 9 asts 9 rebs
Carter 33 pts 3 rebs 4 asts
Jefferson 16 pts
Krstic 12 pts 11 rebs
Wright 16 pts
Williams 10 pts 4 asts

Here is how Carter cut his hand.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Vince Carter was cutting to the basket looking for a lob from Jason Kidd when Shaquille O'Neal got in the way. Carter was ridden out of bounds and immediately grabbed his right hand, wincing in pain.

When asked how he cut his arm, Carter replied "the top of the camera."

"The cameraman sitting on the court. I hit it as I was going by, hit the top of his camera and cut the skin right out of it," said Carter</div>

When I saw him run off the court I thought it was something really big.
