Reminds me of the time I had to catch a double header in 104 degree heat. That was freaking brutal.

I played a Babe Ruth tournament when I was 14 years old in Kennewick. The temp was 108 degrees. Being that hot is okay with me. Physically exerting yourself in it is another. Players were getting heat exhaustion. It was cray

Timbers game Saturday night too. Can’t wait to see what the gals wear!

What magnitude? I've never felt an earthquake. Lived most of my life in OR and CA. Think I slept through a couple of earthquakes, though.

It was an earthquake thousands of miles away. We got a tsunami warning, I walked to water during the time frame, it was only like an inch or some shit. Couldn't tell anything

The coast is going to be absolutely packed, isn't it? Was thinking about trying to get a hike in over there or something but I really don't really want to compete with traffic coming back to the valley on a Sunday night.

Supposed to be 97-100°F here next week, too, 500mi North of y'all. We've already had more >86°F days this year than last and it isn't even July yet.

Edit: had to double check my Freedom units

Yes, it will be bananas. I'd rather gut it out in the metro area, honestly.

There have been 2 in Portland I have felt since I have lived here. One was in 2000 or so and one was in 2005 or 2006. Weren't big ones but I felt them. Was in my apt alone in the last one when I heard clanking outside. I opened the door and it was the stairs rattling. Then the building shook some. I closed the door and laid back down on the coach. My roommates cat came up and laid on my stomach the rest of the evening. She was scared.

I just bought the first air conditioner I've ever owned....window model...was planning to put in a ductless heating system in the future but with a baby here couple days a week....couldn't wait for that project...seems to be working fine so far....two days ago the store had 20 of them stacked up for sale....today I bought the last one in the store....good timing. Cabin is holding steady at 72 degrees and it's past high noon here.
