You wouldn't think photographing a nine-inch tall Greg Oden(notes) figure for an entire year would make for a very interesting Flickr album — or blog post, for that matter — but surprisingly, it does. Well, to me, at least.
For 127 consecutive days now, talented photographer "justapaperbag" has snapped a high-quality pic of the mini-Trail Blazers center doing mundane things like playing a round of golf, watching television, swimming, dunking a Cheerio, whatever comes to mind. The results are both hilarious and — dare I say, because of the fragile subject — sad. (You think the real Greg Oden could ever play a round of golf? His feet would fall off!)
The photographer explains that he had been thinking about doing a photo-a-day type project for a while, but could never find an inanimate object to which he wanted to commit one year of his life to. Enter this funny note and a $15 McFarlane toy.
