Regarding the bit about guns on military bases.

It was during the presidency of George H.W. Bush, not Bill Clinton, that the U.S. Department of Defense issued a directive in February 1992 affecting the carrying of firearms on bases by military personnel. That directive was eventually implemented through a regulation190-14 issued by the Department of the Army (not via executive order) in March 1993, just two months after President Clinton assumed office.

Additionally, that change in regulations (which applied only to the Army, not other branches of the U.S. armed forces) did not ban the carrying of weapons by soldiers on Army bases; rather, it restricted the authorization to carry firearms to personnel engaged in law enforcement and security duties, and to personnel stationed at facilities where there was "a reasonable expectation that life or Army assets would be jeopardized if firearms were not carried":

He claims (if you look at his youtube page and do a google search for him) that his parents are both "democrats".

Yeah, what is it with this kid imitating grownups that are in a presidential debate, and getting his facts just as wrong as the politicians that want to run our country?

He should be out on the streets doing drugs and spray painting walls instead of taking an interest in politics and current events.

odd (and maybe telling) that you think his only other option is to go out on the street, doing drugs and vandalizing things. And even more odd that you think that thats what my point was.

I can't figure out what makes people think the internet is made so you can spew opinions like this. I don't seem to see people with ideas, just accusations and parrot like repetition.

All I see when I watch that video is a kid who picked a different side than what stereotypes would suggest. I get a blip or two on the old gaydar too. Hope I'm wrong because now is a wonderful time when people can feel free to be themselves.

But yeah, I only see how he gets it if you agree with his opinion. Otherwise he's nuts right?
 
This kid sounds like he has some racist upbringing.
 
Come on guys, he was not being invited to the white house because he built a clock. He got invited to the white house because he was treated like a terrorist and arrested for building a clock and being Muslim. What is so hard to understand about that?
