Not lying. He was reported as "challenged" at the RG.
Wait, more details please. Do you work at the garden? Or was he on the big screen? I don't get it.

wtf does developmentally disabled even mean? mentally challenged/retarded? or does it mean he had trouble learning at school but was still a competent person? i hate pc language.
Frequently, people with mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, various genetic and chromosomal disorders such as Down syndrome and Fragile X syndrome, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder are described as having developmental disabilities. This use of the term is synonymous with the use of the term learning disability in the United Kingdom, and intellectual disability in Australia, Europe, Canada and elsewhere. Cognitive disability is also used synonymously in some jurisdictions.
It is Sergio's fault.

Sergio was driving the car.
And he was high as a kite.

You think its the Rose Garden's fault that a kid runs away from the building during the game and gets hit by a car?
Sergio was driving the car.

And Maris was in the passenger seat![]()
So you're saying that only the passenger, and not the driver, was A Regular Here?
Is Sergio OddEnormous? I mean, he speaks with an accent...didn't know he spelled with one, too.

If he was intoxicated the RG staff wouldn't let him leave on his own. The RG would make sure he would find someone to drive him home, get escorted to a cab, etc. The RG is not liable for someone leaving the facility on their own accord if they aren't under noticeable impairments (dizzy because they are diabetic, drunk, etc).I don't know the answer to that, and neither do you.

Update on the kid if anyone cares.
The swelling in his brain has subsided, which the dr's said is a total shock. Still in critical condition, but I guess that was a huge and unexpected step.

I'm pretty sure it means that he was one of the stupid kids in school, and this was a way of labeling him to make it seem like it wasn't his fault for being stupid, when it probably was his fault, as he skipped class and didn't do homework, etc.
At least that's how it was when I was in school as far as these labels go.

You sound like you're speaking from personal experience. Whether you are, or aren't, that post says a whole lot more about you than the poor kid that was struck by a car.

As it turns out, I know the parents of this boy really well. The boy, who is 16, has down syndrome and was at the game with his sister who is in her 20's. They were in a suite with friends and he went to the restroom and "escaped".
He is in critical condition at the hospital, and Dr's say it doesn't look real promising right now. His parents are two of the greatest people I know, and are also pastors of a church.
