It could happen. And I would LOVE IT!

im so glad we clinched playoffs!

look at our march and april sched....

we are in trouble.

im so glad we are in playoff contention!

look at your old 'our upcoming schedule - our season is over!' thread......

it was wrong.

seriously, if we are going to do something EXTRA special in this season its going to be by beating all these top teams we have coming up and earning our post season in style - how anyone can suggest we dont have a decent shot at doing that is beyond me, but then again so is overwhelming pessimisim.... cheer up mixum :)

I don't want to face the Lakers. However we did win in their place on April 11, 2010 with LaMarcus with 24points, Miller with 15 and Webster with 16.

I think the Lakers are playing like this shit this year, and we've got as good a chance of beating them as anyone.

The reality is that we'll most likely lose in the 1st round regardless of who we play. So why not play the Lakers??? It would be the most entertaining series BY FAR!

Any series vs. the Lakers = Want. Even if the Blazers don't win, they can punch the bruise and piss in the mouth so the next team has a better shot. Getting beat by also-rans Phoenix and Houston is boring. Might as well go all-in with the passion and atmosphere, and there's no better team to bring that out of the players and the fans like the Lakers.

MIXUM with his wife: "You and I are so much in love, but the next few months, I'm gonna be meeting a lot of women, so we're probably going to get divorced."

I've watched the Lakers quite a bit this year. This isn't the same team as in years past. A lot of those players are aging and a step slower than previous years. The only players that seem to be not having down years are Odom, Bynum and Shannon Brown.

Also, you can definitely put up points on this team. They don't play defense like years past.

I agree.

I'd rather play the lakers because I think our style of play matches up better with them.

I would love to play the Lakers but I think it's more likely we'll play Dallas or Oklahoma City. Lakers will probably finish 2nd and we may finish 5th.

Against the L*kers, Aldridge would get his first two fouls within three minutes of the opening tip.

I don't want to play 8 on 5.

lol bring it on (put whatever explicit word you want, here).

Edit: Fixed it for ya'll....sorry :]

The playoffs are about matchups. And without a healthy Roy, we don't matchup with the L*kers. When you add in the help they'd get from the officials, it would be a brutal four to five games to watch for us.

Because then you are playing against the team and the NBA refs.

I want OKC or SA.

Dallas looks deep and talented . . . I think they take down the Lakers this year and go to the championship series.
