There is never greed when money is involved. What kind of madness is a theory such as that?So if the prices stay at avg $2.78 or 10% lower then we know the States are collecting $ for their budgets and if not then there is a whole lot of greed still practiced by the oil distributors.
Word is they'll knock off another 50 cents after they nuke Israel.
Fonz... You must be a committed conformistThere is never greed when money is involved. What kind of madness is a theory such as that?
Yeah, and I've got some awesome waterfront property in Christmas Valley that I'll sell you for a song.
I think it's amazing that we complain about gas prices here when in Europe it's over $8 a gallon.
they drive a shit ton less.
Actually it was but people just won't use public transportation, trains, buses. High speed rails are needed here but this is most definitely a car culture. I drive by the local library when it's closed on Sunday and see huge monster trucks idling in the parking lot while they use the free wireless...don't even shut off the motor. It's not a problem of geography but an addiction to convenience. I spend very little on gas but I drive a hybridThe country wasn't built (literally) for people to not drive long distances. If it were, there would be a lot more farmland where suburbia currently is and a lot more housing in what is now inner-cities.
But the urban planners in here can speak to that a lot better than I can.
