I'm hoping we trade Diop

I'm hoping a package of Diop/Hassel for Arroyo/Reddick/2nd

It'd be 2 seperate deals

NBA rules doesn't permit that, it has to be Diop straight up for someone or it's against policy.

I said... It'd be 2 seperate deals meaning it'd be Hassel for Arroyo and 2nd and then Diop for Reddick

mike miller is all i want

if we land redd even better, reddick ill settle for as well but the Magic GM said hes not tradin him regardless of whether hes unhappy about his mins or not

why not Swift + pick for Wilcox

and then Diop for Bogans

ya i could understand trading for reddick which the magic will not give us but tradin for arroyo when we already have marcus and devin makes no sense id rather keep hassell hes a great defender

Chad Ford: (1:19 PM ET ) There was some talk last night about a potential deal for Nene that would include the expiring contracts of Magloire, Bostjan Nachbar and Darrell Armstrong ... but the word this morning is that those talks have cooled significantly. I'm not sure why you risk it with Nene right now. He's been diagnosed with testicular cancer and he has 4 years, $43 million left on his deal.

Chad Ford: (1:19 PM ET ) Hold on a second ... have to take this call on a possible trade ...

Ryan, Chicago: Please tell me Ben Wallace is on the move

Chad Ford: (1:24 PM ET ) Maybe ... call was about Ben Wallace in a possible deal with the Cavs. I've got to stress that it was from what I'd call a third party source ... not someone directly involved in the negotiations. So ... take it with a grain of salt ... but interesting ...

Chad Ford: (1:25 PM ET ) The deal as I heard it ... by the way ... had Drew Gooden, Ira Newble, Shannon Brown and Cederic Simmons coming back to Chicago.</div>

That would be a really dumb trade on Cleveland's part. Gooden, Brown and Simmons for Wallace?

Let's just give Memphis what they wanted: our 1st rounder + Mags and Boki for Mike Miller. If we're going to aim for the playoffs anyway, and Miller would be a huge help in getting us there, our 1st rounder wouldn't be that high anyway.

I'd give em mag+1st rounder

But we aren't going to make the playoffs even with Mike Miller! The schedule is horrible!

--1 game v. Boston
--1 game v. Detroit
--1 game v. Orlando
--2 games v. San Antonio
--1 game v. NO
--1 game v. Dallas
--1 game v. Houston
--2 games v. Clevelnad
--1 game v. Utah
--1 game v. Denver
--1 game v. Phoeniz
--1 game v. Toronto

That's half the remaining games. We can easily lose all 14 of them. There are four games v. Indiana left, and two vs. Milwaukee--I think we have to sweep them to have any chance.

I think you are underestimating the mental state of this team prior to the Kidd trade. They weren't as bad as they played.

It's a tough schedule, but with the defenders this team has now they can win a few of those.

Chad Ford: (2:03 PM ET ) I'm getting lots of phone calls now ... sorry for delays. One source says the hold up in a Chicago-Cavs deal is that Cleveland wants Chicago to take back Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden for Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and Duhon. I can't really see the Bulls doing that. Hughes has two years, $26 million left on his contract and where do the Bulls play him?</div>

agreed much like tiki barber was for the giants kidd was a cancer for that lockerroom,

last night was a great showing of a total team effort and a desire to compete & win

if we get miller i think we can get the eastern conference finals

I didn't realize how dire the schedule was the last half of the season until you posted the teams the Nets have yet to play...crazy. I look at it 2 ways; we get destroyed last half of the season and hooray it's lottery here we come or we play competitively and sneak into the playoffs and get our young' uns some well worth experience.

You gotta love unbridled enthusiasm but i would not go that far. I don't see the Nets beating Detroit or Boston to get to the ecf.

The Cavs are totally hamstrung and will never be able to get LeBron that second star he needs to win an NBA championship. Biggest NBA mistake ever was letting Boozer get out of his contract.

deadline is here, nothing major except for that bulls cavs deal with ben wallace which is still being workd out apparently

Shit. This is lame.

I was hoping for mags and Boki for Miller, and maybe a follow-up of Lowry for Diop. Crap.

there are still unfinished deals on the table, all we know is the trade deadline is over w/ the viewers but not the GMs. There are always under the table or on the table deals.

the time limit is up, i dont think any trades can be completed now
