I just signed up...instant approval! Im going to Hawaii....YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!

It'll take about 2months to get the miles after only one purchase minimum.

Key Points:

MUST sign up for United Mileage Plus before calling (free): https://www.ua2go.com/profile/Join.do
Gotta apply over PHONE ONLY for CC
$60 annual fee but waived for first year (can you say cancel?)
No Blackout dates, can be used for ANYWHERE United flys (would have to pay extra for outside the USA)
If you dont get instant approval you gotta wait two weeks and find out by mail

Do at your own risk but I did it!

Whenever I go to Hawaii, my flights are usually $300 or less. :devilwink:

Its 50k miles not two RT Unlimited tix........Hawaii is 40k miles for each round trip ticket BTW....

My mom signed up for a British Airways card about a month ago and got 100k miles for it I think.

alright, anywhere in the mainland

where did you get "no blackout days" from? Miles rewards always have blackout days...well, you just have to pay more miles for travel on those days.

according to the thread and the person i talked to on the phone

story changes when you're ready to book usually...or they have weird flight schedules. where you going to go now?

I never retreived miles from shopping online really. ebags gives you 4 miles for every dollar spent! that's pretty fucking crazy.
