Last year, the complaint was that we couldn’t beat the good team. This year, we’ve blown out 5 WC playoff teams from last season. Beating Utah would leave us with only Dallas for the clean sweep.

You can't be serious. Trying to make the argument that Portland is a good team because of 5 wins? You just can't be serious. Portland, right now, is as bad as any team in the league. John Wall is playing better than Lillard. They are a complete laughing stock. The joke of the league with that amazing 1-10 on the road. Seriously, they are the butts of jokes.
I don't think Dame is that healthy and he is a much larger part of this team than any other player. The good news is that we haven't been this healthy through 21 games in a long time.

With a bunch of home games coming up against crappy teams, don't let the improved record after 30 games fool you. This team goes on a ruin every year.
They might be 4-5 games over .500 in a couple weeks.... fools gold.
I have been wanting to post this but I didn’t have the faith in the injury gods not to make me pay dearly for it.The good news is that we haven't been this healthy through 21 games in a long time.

Are you rubbing it in because its easy to turn that into a sort of bad news.

Could you tell us some of the jokes? I need a laugh. You can't be serious. Trying to make the argument that Portland is a good team because of 5 wins? You just can't be serious. Obviously I don't believe in jinxing, but if I did, I certainly wouldn't have said anything! Our roster has a few guys who I'd expect to get injuried every year, so when that happens, it will just be the norm. Until then, I'd say we've been lucky.
For sure... I'm trying to enjoy it while it lasts! Above average health has been a key in our successful seasons with this roster.I think @bobf meant that it's easy to turn into "bad news" that Portland isn't doing any better than last year despite being significantly healthier than last year.

doubt any Bucks or Raptors fans are talking about the context of their championships. How many of those five teams had all stars last year that didn't play against us this year?
context matters…
We have a recent championship do we?doubt any Bucks or Raptors fans are talking about the context of their championships.

I agree with your sentiment but now that they both have the rings I imagine the context is a lot different for those two teams. Milwaukee won with a team that was built around a superstar they drafted and Milwaukee can look to duplicate what they did to a certain extent. Toronto won with a hired gun that they had for one season and definitely have to find a different way if they want to win another championship. I think you're right that both fan bases and teams are still thrilled that they won but the context right now of how good they are has the Bucks thinking they won one so they can win another, while the Raptors can't have that certainty because they're a totally different team.Context doesn't matter for achieving something, like winning a title. It's in the books. Context matters if you're trying to figure out how good a team is, to get a sense for how they'll do going forward.

Feel the same way about wins. When people on here talk about how BAD a loss was or how GOOD a win was. April 15th, they all count the same FAMS.You don't need context for that, you can just look at their rosters.
If context mattered for titles, then 50 years from now, Milwaukee's title would be viewed differently than Toronto's. And I don't think that will be the case. People care about the narrative around why a title is better or worse right at the time that it happens, but all of that is completely forgotten pretty quickly. That's why I say context doesn't matter once something is in the books.

Way to jinx us, buddy. The good news is that we haven't been this healthy through 21 games in a long time.
Do you ever notice we always seem to catch teams missing stars or is it just me?Teams missing stars affects level of competition.
