It is hard to compare those because the first is distorted by a wide angle shot. Oden has clearly added to his guns and his pecs/deltoids are huge.

That picture on the right isn't that great for comparing muscle. Might I offer alternatives?

To be honest, he doesn't look all that bigger. Maybe in the forearms a little bit.

He's still carrying some extra subcutaneous fat. I bet he drops 5-10 lbs from now to the regular season. At that point, he'll look even bigger as his muscles will pop even more.

It's nice to see the hard work in the gym paying off.
