During Clinton it went up but toward the end of his reign, it started leveling. Now under Bush the 2nd, it's gone up constantly.Another, better view:http://web.whittier.edu/jmiller/United%20S...onal%20Debt.htmyou can see that the debt starts its gain during Nixon and Ford's reigns, both Republicans. Then Carter, a Democrat, isn't able to keep it that low. Then its biggest gains came during 2 republicans again. Then Clinton toward the end started evening it out, and then under bush it lept again.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Since 1938 the Democrats have held the White house for 35 years, the Republicans for 31. Over that time the national debt has increased at an average annual rate of 8.9%. The Democratic yearly average (that is the years Democrats were in the White House) was an increase of 8.7%. The years while the Republicans ran the White House, during this same period; the debt increased an average 9.1% per year. Those averages are pretty close. If you look at the debt starting with Truman?s term (and remove Roosevelt?s WWII debt) the difference between the two parties contributions to our national debt level change considerably. Since 1946 the Democratic Presidents increased the national debt an average of only 3.7% per year when they were in office. The Republican Presidents stay at an average increase of 9.1% per year. Over the last 57 years Republican Presidents have out borrowed Democratic Presidents by more than a two to one ratio. That is, for every dollar a Democratic President has raised the national debt in the past 57 years Republican Presidents have raised the debt by $2.47.</div>

Because this one on CNN shows that Democrats are both the smartest and the dumbest in terms of College Education. Dems also had the most not graduate from high school.http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/pages/res...0/epolls.0.htmlSo it looks like this.Least educated Middle Educated Most Educated Democrat Republican DemocratHaving more minorities is a result of income. As sad as it is, most blacks/hispanics live in inner cities, and don't make that much money. Not race only.

But I think the stats I showed are irrefutable - democrats are more educated. All your chart tells me is that democrats got more votes, which I knew already, as well as reaffirming that dems are more educated. As for having the most not graduate high school, that's 3% of voters, and clearly doesn't make much of a dint in the other 97% of the population where democrats are more educated on average..

Democrats had the more educated people vote for them, and the least educated people vote for them. How does that say they are smarter? It says it's all balanced like I said. Democrats have the least and most educated. Republicans are in the middle.

How does that say they are smarter? It says it's all balanced like I said. Democrats have the least and most educated. What's more important is averages, and, as I stated before, the average democrat voting state has 125% as many college graduates as the average republican state of equal population, therefore they're more educated. It's not that difficult to grasp.

Alright, you win I guess. But Republicans are still better than Democrats. 🪨 *Sticks out tounge*

I was hoping you wouldn't play that card, because there is nothing I can respond to that with that would be anything other than a mockery of that gloriously crafted and constructed argument. I am not worthy to be in the presence of such an Euleresque disprover of conjectures. A Michael Kearney of the internet, if you will. I bow down to your ability to overcome herculean odds and prove a point that was not to be proven. I have now opened my mind and realized that the view which you so eloquently expressed is clearly the one and only view out there. Thank you for enlightening me, esteemed captain.
