Here's how it works.

You list the 8 Western Conference playoff teams in ranked order by record (not seed). It is not necessary to predict actual record or motivate you picks. Just list 1-8.

Entries are transferred to a spreadsheet and saved. After the final regular season game, scores are tabulated and a winner announced.

There IS a prize!

Rules:
Entries must be posted by midnight, the eve of the first regular season NBA game.
Only one entry per poster.
Once an entry is submitted, it cannot be revised. So if you think the Lakers are going to finish #1, and Kobe Bryant breaks both legs and is out for the season, you can't change your vote.

That was a year when the West was extremely weak. That Suns team had an undersized Shawn Marion playing the 4, playing superstar level ball.
