Indiana will select Duke's Miles Plumlee with the 26th pick, league source tells Y! Per Woj.

PJ III might slip to the second round. If I'm Olshey, I'm gunning for 31.

No guaranteed contract for Jones?! Hell yea.

31st pick is more valuable than the 3-4 picks before it for that reason. It's also great for drafting Euro's because you can pay them closer to their true value (MLE, etc.) rather than being stuck on rookie salary scale. If you want PJIII you get him in the first round, still a pretty small commitment financially.

man, just how bad was that PJIII knee?

I think it's not only that, but he reportedly didn't impress in any of his workouts. He's trying to be a SF. He is not a SF. He can't shoot or dribble particularly well. You need to be able to do at least one of those to be a good SF. I think he's basically an Anthony Randolph clone, but even weaker.

I think his knees are bad. Normally that would mean we would draft him at 11 lol. I would think if he falls to our 2nd round picks we take a chance.

That's a fair assessment. He was described out of HS as supposed to being what Anthony Davis became. Maybe PJ3 gets a chip on his shoulder, could be the best thing for him long term if the knee holds up. I've heard he has amazing athleticism, 41" vertical, just really bad form that his trainers were working on pre-draft.

Will this be the first year in forever that the blazers make no draft deals?

Funny because Olshey talks a mean game (open to everything, maybe trade the picks, package ect) but then goes out and appears to ahve a very ho hum draft.

Cho was quiet spoken but actually did a lot of wheeling and dealing.

Ultimately, I'll take the more successful style. But it is funny that Olshey looks like he was ready to manuever as he talked about picking BPA and accumulate assets for a superstar big trade. Instead he got a couple need positions that look they they were picked to be mainstays for Ptd.

Let's see how all this plays out

Weird that Draymond Green is still available.

He's one of those short bangers who are nice to have off of the bench on a good team.

I think he also said "Grade me July 20, not Draft Night"
