BTW, that makes you 31 or older, at least physically. I'd otherwise guess you're 16. Which would make you well short of my 27 years (excuse my first three years... Thanks.... I'm only 30.).

Probably over taking Leonard vs. Terrence Jones or something ... I have no idea who Born favored, but I know who I did.
 
Not too shabby overall. Got three guys who have been improving every year and sound like they want to improve some more. Myers says he wants to be like Joaquin Noah, that's encouraging. Despite Myers being white he seems to have physical tools for a center that some years nobody in the draft has. He may have confidence issues but in his interviews he sounds very self-assured. And although his rebounding numbers aren't great, he was third in the big ten, so maybe it's a tough league to get rebounds.
I was very happy to get Barton.
Missed KP a little; I think he would have drafted Barnes at 6 and made GS pay to get him back; but not sure if we could have gotten anyone better than Barton with GS's 31.

In this draft I don't know how much there is to judge? every pick between 6 and 20 felt like a massive kludge.

Hope they all pan out ... now I'm off to finish my bottle of Glenfiddich.

He just got done drafting Miles-fucking-Plumlee for Indiana tonight ... I'd say the bloom is well off that rose.

I'm not gleeful over this draft, but does anyone think these 2 guys are as bad as the above?

Hell, I think BARTON is better than any of those! And not sure if it's even close.
 
who did you want over Leonard, Lamb? Leonard was ranked higher on scouts.com, and they listened to your bullshit ranting about taking guys ranked on scouts, so went with him over lamb. sorry.
 
Ido wish they had turned the 2 second rounders into a late first, and then taken a flyer on Moultrie or P3. As late as they went, they were good gambles.

Next year doesn't really matter to me, it's at at the end of their second year and three years from now when both of those guys will be counted on for heavy rotation minutes that really matters.

Also, I think it's pretty obvious that Leonard is pretty raw and has a lot farther to go as a big versus a wing like Lamb
