Barnes and Batum would work together nicely -- Nic at SG and Barnes at SF.

Jones is a tweener SF/PF. Not a fan of taking him that high.

I just did the ESPN lottery and on my first try OUR pick was #2 and the Nets pick ended up #6

We took Gilchrist and Drummund.

The way Kendall Marshall can push the ball and find the open man with long passes is uncanny. He'd be perfect if our new coach decides on a fast tempo game.

Robinson with the Nets pick, Marshall with our pick. Sounds good.

Marshall can't shoot to save his life, so here is a question for you that I was thinking about earlier.

Marshall, or the pick we would use to get him and something for Rondo......Another PG who can't shoot

I'm curious if we really need a pg that can shoot the three. I mean we really needed it when we had Nate as a coach but would someone who can setup everyone else easier like a rondo be just as good now that we don't have Nate as a coach anymore. And maybe surround them with shooters like Batum and perhaps Gordon?

Why would Boston do that? I think they're going to retool around Aldridge.

Marshall isn't a great 3 point shooter, but he's not completely incompetent. He kind of has a Tony Parker type quick shot in the lane and is fast. I think he'll be a little more of an offensive threat than people think.

Marshall has been working a lot on his jumper apparently. Last 8 games hes 13/26 from 3.

Sucks for Marshall. curious which hand it is. I didn't see him go right once, might be able to keep playing if it's that hand, lol.

I want Kendall Marshall on this team. I wonder if him breaking his wrist would drop his value to 22-27 in the first round? Maybe old moneybags Paul Allen can buy a pick, doubtful for this draft, but I can always dream.

He's probably going to have a tough time defensively and he may have a tough time generating much of his own offense, but god-damn that guy can pass and run a team. He's going to need some teammates that can cover for him at the next level and a defensive scheme that doesn't hang him out to dry on an island, but he could be a good one.

Just reading up on Anthony Davis. Did you guys know that he was groomed to be a PG in HS? He was actually recruited to play DI ball as a guard! He was 6'3 his junior year, and had a ridiculous growth spurt and is now a C.

Check out this video from his senior year in HS, when he's still flashing some of that handle and passing ability, as well as discovering his new found height advantage.

He looks like a combo of KD and Oden. The guy is a can't miss prospect.

I'm liking him more and more each day. Earlier on in the season before I had the chance to watch him as much, I said Jeremy Lamb could be a better prospect in the NBA, but I take that back completely now. That combination of size and skill makes him such a unique prospect.

I think Durant might be a better comparison for him than Camby (like most sites mention) actually.

I wonder if whoever gets him considers playing him as a guard. Probably not, but it would be interesting.

Well, Calipari isn't at UK. There are some coaches in the NBA who I bet would love to try it out, though.

Lots of potential Blazer picks playing the next two nights in the NCAAs.

Beal and Sullinger tonight
A bunch of guys from UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, and Baylor tomorrow night.

If you yet to accept Operation Tank and don't want to throw a brick through your TV, flip to one of the NCAA games when you find yourself getting frustrated when Memphis goes on a big run tonight. This goes double for tomorrow night's annihilation at the hands of the Lakers.

Who's the Best SG in the Draft?

Does Barnes Run away with it? Is Lamb Close behind? Beal Better than Lamb huh?

What are your thoughts, looking for a SG.

Best pure shooter in the draft is John Jenkins of Vanderbilt. He's cooler than other side of the pillow.

I'd say Barnes is a SF, not a SG. The top SG's appear to be Beal, J. Lamb, and Rivers. I think Rivers will be the last one drafted, and the best of the three.

Rivers better learn the point, because I don't think he'll be able to cut it guarding NBA 2's.
