Maybe the guy was talking about Knight?

An 11PER with just about as many turnovers as he had assists.

Calipari was the one that recruited Camby to UMass.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. We went from the article which just lumped all UK players together to all Calipari's kids over his "coaching" career.

I'm on a low functioning level right now after about 3 hours of sleep last night.

Listening to a few scouts talk about Robinson makes me want him on this team even more.

Basically said that Robinson has a very similar build of Karl Malone at the same age and will continue to get stronger.

Same height as well, roughly: 6'7" 5/8 (Malone, 1992 Olympics) 6'7.75" (Robinson)

I still don't know why anyone is sold on him?

Because he was the fire in the belly of that title team. He has good size for his position and does two things that are beneficial in today's NBA:

He runs the court and finishes well and actually gives his all on defense.

But in all of the games I saw, and on the draft websites, it lists one of his main weaknesses as creating his own shot. For someone with no jump shot to speak of, that's a killer....isn't it? He is just not going to score very well at the next level, and do you really want to spend a top half of the lottery pick on someone who won't score?

Didn't you just vote to draft Drummond 3rd?

I did. Playoffs are won in the low post. Both on offense and defense

Drummond has no offensive game. Similar to MKG right now. Both certainly have the ability to develop one. But neither really do. I prefer Drummond, I agree with you there. Just seems funny to have the thought you don't want to waste a high lotto pick on someone who won't score, when you are willing and happy to do just that.

Drummond looked so awkward when they ISO'd him on the block. A lot of the time he took an off-balanced fadeaway.

But I wouldn't be too hard on him (yet) -- he's a year younger than the rest of his class.

I think his offensive game will evolve. He's just 19 years old. People act as though Drummond is a huge upside guy, but MKG is a finished product. They're the same age. He might not ever be great offensively, but some guys can make it in the league by just finding a way to put the ball through the hoop. I think of Shawn Marion off the top of my head, not pretty, but gets the job done.

Drummond was born on August 10th, 93'. MKG was born Sept. 26, 93'. Beal's only 2 months older than Drummond, as well.

False information.

Most of his class. He's one of the youngest in his class and could have easily stayed in Prep school one more year but opted to enroll at UCONN.

Wet sarape

Dude, you said he's a 'year' younger than the rest of his class. He's not even the youngest player in his class.

Drummond was born in August, so he was nearly a year younger than many in his class. The family's original plan was for him to transfer to St. Thomas More in Colchester and spend three years there, including a post-grad year. But after two, he had grown academically and socially as well as athletically, and coach Jere Quinn recommended he consider going to college in 2011.

"He responded great to the challenges here," Quinn said. "You could see how much respect he had for his mother. He's a happy, well-adjusted kid. ? But I think, like any kid going to college, there are some doubts. He had a very comfortable life."

...

All the guys coming out after their freshman campaign are born in 93'.

Its funny Im starting to get to the age that players in the league when i was in high school are retiring. Thats a sobering feeling.

I'm around the same age of most of the seniors in this draft class, don't want to even imagine when people my age will be retiring, lol.

Baylor's F Perry Jones III says he patterns game after Kevin Durant. OK with that #Blazers fans? | http://www.csnnw.com/pages/landingb...e-after-Kevin-Du=1&blockID=722952&feedID=5212 | #PDX #Ripcity

A Stretch no doubt, but love his attitude and what he had to say:

"To be honest, I would love to play beside him (Aldridge) and he's a good Christian guy," Jones said. "He's somebody I would love to have on my team. Somebody that's a good dude, somebody that can probably be a mentor to me that can help me as I go through this process."

At least he didn't say...I think that tall dude can be a good mentor to me. Lightish skinned tall dude. You know, big guy. Tattoos.

WTF. Bringing religion into this? Does LA even know the guy?

Does he have to know him? Jones at least knows what kind of guy LA is enough to think he';d be a great mentor.
