Things change so quickly, and I know they continue to do so.

But if you had told me a couple weeks ago (assuming we stay at 6 and 11) that we'd draft Lillard and PJ3, I'd have been somewhat disappointed. Now, it seems like we'd be lucky (Lucky in the sense that these guys currently appear to be climbing the ranks - not in the sense that these guys are for sure going to be studs).

Beer, wine, and liquor are a huge industry for Oregon (weed probably is, too - but I don't have stats for that).

Interesting read. If true it looks like Barnes will be gone for sure before the 6th pick, leaving us with Beal if we want him. I understand things change quickly, but right now it looks like we would be choosing between Lillard and Beal at #6

That seems odd to me. If I were evaluating a prospect, I'd rather have size that was always there. A 9' reach with a 33" vert seems better than 8'10" with 35". Maybe that's just me.

Seriously? Would they disqualify a guy if he has an occasional beer or wine with dinner? Or even an occasional discreet toke?
Also, would someone say yes to smoking weed since he'd be admitting an illegal action?

Wouldn't be my question, which I guess is why I'm not a shrink.

Leaving us with Drummond? Shit that has disaster written all over it. But I really think a guy that big and athletic will be gone by 6. I would be shocked if he wasn't.

"disaster" or most upside in the draft? That's how much risk and upside he has. Pick your poison, but IMO if you ever want this team to ever compete for a chanpionship at the #6 position if you can get a guy like that you have to take the risk and pull the trigger.

Damian Lillard really helped himself last 2 days. Shot ball well. Competed. Just measured with a 36" inch standing and 40" full vertical.
