You said you didn't like Robinson

meh, I really dont get too amped about anyone else to replace him with, so might as well take an impact player that is ready now, rather then take a flyer on potential. Think you may have nailed it for me.

You know the only guy in the draft that Iwould give the farm for is davis. Even take a look at LMA in a trade situation.

Neil Oshley and staff have narrowed it down to 4 candidates, Quick "Thinks": Lillard, Lamb, Leonard, PJIII. No on Drummond.

Blazers Pretty sure who's going 1-4, after that its a crab-shoot

Oshley insists he's a BPA guy, the one message was the draft is simply a step in the process of gathering assets

Judge the Blazers on July 20th

Looks like they'll use the picks at the moment, not enough out there being offered to trade. However draft fever might hit tomorrow.

This is an interesting statement. S&T? Contract status for a trade to be made?

Hopefully Olshey has already got a taste of what being a GM in Ptd means.

Blazer fans and media will judge Olshey on July 20th. They will also judge Olshey after the draft and everyday up until July 20th and every day after that. I think he will be shocked on how many Blazer articles there will be even in the offseason. If Olshey sneezes, Blazer fans will know.

Lang Greene: This year's weak point guard crop reminds me of the 1997 draft when Chauncey Billups, Antonio Daniels and Brevin Knight went in the top 16

Lillard, Lamb, Leonard or PJIII? I do like Leonard and Lamb. I haven't seen much discussion on Lamb, but to me, he looks every bit as good as Beal or Barnes...if not better. I haven't looked at PJIII much though.

David Aldridge's new mock:

#6
Portland Trail Blazers | Dion Waiters | SG | Syracuse

No one has raised his Draft profile more than Waiters, the sophomore whose explosive offensive talents have NBA types drooling. New GM Neil Olshey wants to build a team with superior personnel, and Waiters has a chance to be that good.

#11
Portland Trail Blazers | Meyers Leonard | C | Illinois

The Blazers start the post-Oden era by taking one of the most athletic bigs available in the Draft. Leonard's shooting performance at the Chicago pre-Draft camp earlier this month removed enough doubts about his hubris to make him a lottery pick

He's just one of many who is just now beginning to see beyond the Lillard smokescreen.

David Aldridge. Now there's a draft guru...

I'm beginning to thing Waiters is 'rising' because everybody who actually worked out is 'falling'.

Lillard over Waiters, every day, all day.

And I KNOW that ain't green font.

Just sayin'.

Work is exploding. Good news is I'll have $$$ for season tickets this year. Bad news is they'll be for clients and me and not my kids and me, on most nights.
