Andre Igoudala has reached agreement with Golden State on a four year, $48 million deal with the Warriors, league source tells Y! Sports.

almost make it to NBA finals...and still manage to get an allstar player in his prime in free agency!

Source says the Warriors are sending Andris Biedrins, Richard Jefferson to the Jazz. Checking on what they're getting back.

I would be very unimpressed if I were a Jazz fan. Adding 20 millions dollar of crap? What am I missing?

Both expire at the end of this coming season. Don't think they were going to spend the money on players that were going to come anyways.

uh I realize that. I'm saying, it makes 0 sense for UTA. GS had to have given some sort of incentive to take all that on

It's actually a good strategy because the free agent class next summer is stronger, with less teams under cap. Also, they can tank on the wiggins sweepstakes

expiring contracts. tank mode activated.

Why did they need expiring contracts? The didn't send back any bad contracts to GS. They could have just gone into the season with 2 empty rosters spots that don't take up salary.

1 first round pick is hardly an incentive.

Yep. And they got at least 1 first round pick to boot. They should be looking good for any year except this coming one.

So they are gambling that the expiring contracts will bring them assets as opposed to just signing a free agent this season. Plus they get one year of their services?? OK but I still would not be thrilled. Somehow I think they are promised Bogut some how, some way.

Because they can also flip one (or both) of those guys at the deadline for some talent they want or another pick.

Makes perfect sense to me... Utah fans will not be happy.

This is the "wave the white flag" we're tanking move. Clear all that cap next year, get a high lotto pick in 2014 draft to add to Burke, have cap room to try and lure free agent.

Welcome to today's NBA, the have and have nots. This could be a really quick rebuild for them if they draft smartly next year!

I 100% disagree. I'd even be surprised if they try and keep millsap. This is the best thing they can do to properly tank and free up space. And to get a first rounder in a strong draft class to boot?

Bogut is staying. Only spot he would go to is Lakers in sign and trade if Howard came aboard (not happening though).

Because these are tradable assets. Empty roster slots really aren't.

They've been really good at finding talent throughout their existence. I wouldn't be surprised of they hit a homerun

What is this notion of free up capspace you keep bringing up? They ALREADY HAD CAPSPACE. Hence they absorbed two albatross contracts just now by giving up nothing in return. That pick will be in the high 20s. Taking on ~20mil for just that pick. There's gotta be something more

One other player, yet to be notified, goes to Utah with Jefferson and Biedrins, source says. Warriors get back one non-guaranteed contract.

Barnes maybe? Nope, Rush
