Batum Meters and Barton for Monroe and Singler

Monroe is a RFA next year and wants a Max contract, no way i'd trade anything of value for him unless there was another trade already in the works for him. Paying a player like Monroe a max is something you do only if you have a legit defensive stud at center who can make up for his lack of D.

Landry to Kings, 4 years 26 mil.

Omri Casspi to Rockets and Carl Landry to Kings per woj.

I think he's going to have a great year. He looked great in the offseason last summer and was playing great at the end of the year. I think he's got quite a bit left in the tank. Wouldn't surprise me if they brought in Marion or another undersized PF D'antoni has history with in a salary dump or something.

Jarret Jack to Cleveland, 4 year 25 mil:

@pdxtrailblazers: RT @TrailBlazersPR: The Portland Trail Blazers have placed G/F Sasha Pavlovic on waivers.

Surprised they could not find anyone to trade for him. He was free money (could be cut at any time).

I think we kept that option as long as we could for a trade piece. Now that the majority of signing was done; we need to clear roster space I assume.

God hates the Lakers

“It was on the Fourth of July,” Howard said. “That’s when I felt it was Houston. I was in Colorado. It seemed like every person that I met was from Houston. It was just so ironic. I’d walk around. Someone would ask for a picture. They’d give me a business card and it would say Houston on it. I was like, “Is everybody in Colorado from Houston right now?’ It was unbelievable.

“I was like, ‘You know what, this has to be from God.’ You pray for things to happen. You pray for signs, for God to show you things. It just seemed like, this was it.”

what the hell happened to beaubois? dude looked like a potential star as a rookie, fell off hard

Warriors lost Jack AND Landry for Iggy. Risky business.

At least one of them, maybe both, were going to be gone anyway. Both of their contracts are a bit long for my tastes. Love what Jack gave us but by the end of this past season it became clear that we're better off with Curry handling the rock then letting Jack take the reigns for such an extended period. Both were awesome for us, but I prefer adding Iggy and trying to progress. I don't think that core with JJ in such a premier role could have gone much further than it did.

Just got follow-up word: Three years, $16 million and a done deal for Zaza Pachulia's free-agent move to Milwaukee

Aren't you glad we have Lopez for 2 years instead of 3 years for Zaza at that price?

devin harris to the mavs for 3 years? wtf are they doing?

Shooting for the middle I guess...

PG - Jose Calderon/Devin Harris/Shane Larkin/Gal Mekel
SG - Vince Carter
SF - Shawn Marion
PF - Dirk Nowitzki/Jae Crowder
C - ?

...with roughly $8 mill left to spend in free agency.

I don't get it.

I guess this means they decided not to pull the trigger on Bynum, unless they think they can open up some more cap space

See JJ going to DAL probably. No one else is gonna spend that kinda cash on him now.

Zaza Pachulia got a 3 yr/ 16 million dollar deal with the Bucks.

Compared to that, Lopez is a steal.
