Yes, they did well in the run game. The niners were missing a lot of talent up front though. And the pass D was good considering the 3rd and 4th string corners played most of the game.

I put more blame in Romo than credit to the secondary of the Niners. All those picks were pretty awful and easily avoidable, but being fair the Niners capitalized.

I mean sure, you can fantasize that if romo didn't throw any interceptions that they would have got TDs every time with two point conversions instead. Whatever gets you hard.

The tank is on for the rams, who the fuck is Austin Davis? Did hill get injured?

They will have to compete with Oakland. It's going to be another 2-4 win for Oakland playing the Nfc west this year.

Whoever loses the most grabs mariota?

A lot of pics come from using deception and disgusing your coverage. It's not like Romo saw a 49er player and mistook it for one of his receivers. Also pics are a risk you take when you fling it down field a lot. The 49ers play with a more conservative passing game, they rarely every have a 300 yard day, but they usually don't throw any pics either.

I laughed and I'm a Cowboys fan.

Okay now it's just getting cruel.

Lawson didn't create it, he reposted it. But you know it's bad when some one calls you out completely unprovoked.

So glad I missed the Cowboys game since I was driving back into town from Yahats. That game sounded like I would have broken something if I had been watching it.

The pics were BAD considering he had GREAT protection.

The first two are just bad and the third one isn't great but I like that he is confident enough to toss it to Dez and just hope he comes down with it, I just hopes he doesn't' do that in double coverage on 1st down like that in the future, if it was on third down I wouldn't be to pissed about it.
The Cowboy announcers were taking as if Romo looked uncomfortable the whole game and just wasn't on the same page with the rest of the offense. I'll give him a two games pass to get the rust off because he had Major back surgery and wasn't' cleared for full contact until the preseason had basically started.

Enough Cowboys talk--how 'bout them Vikings! 28 point win on the road, by a team that didn't win a single road game all last year. Cordarelle Patterson is Percy Harvin without the headaches (both literally and figuratively).

Maybe the Cowboys will be bad enough to get Mariota?

The NFL needs to make pass interference and illegal contact calls reviewable. So many horrendous calls in the 49ers/Cowboy game. Biggest one is when Kaep completes a 20 yard pass to Davis for the 1st down, and on the other side of the field, the Cowboy CB grabs hold of Brandon Lloyd, and they call PI on Brandon Lloyd! Shit calls can just totally change the outcome of a game. And they bailed the Cowboys out of a 4th down twice in one drive on phantom PI calls. They can affect the game every bit as much as a turnover.

Yeah, I did like when the Niners were called for defensive holding on back-to-back plays (or 2 out of 3 plays?) when they barely touched the receiver as they bolted off the line. Even the analysts were questioning the calls.

Then, a few plays later, a Dallas defender pushes Lloyd as he breaks of the line of scrimmage, and the refs throw a flag on the Niners. I'm not quite understanding some of the new rules, or areas of emphasis. I've seen a few articles mentioning weak officiating for a few of the weekend games.

It's "Yachats". Where'd you stay there? And where'd you eat?

Didnt notice my phone autocorrect it lol.
Stayed in a rental house near the start of town, very nice house owned by the parents of the couple who own the restaurant Ona.
Didnt do a lot of eating out, ordered pizza from Out of Gas and it wasnt to bad. Took my wife into Florance and ate at Homegrown Public House which had great food but the service wasnt very hospitable. Also had a GREAT burger at the Little Brown Hen Cafe.
Should have tried Ona, my dad and brother went and raved about the food.

Nice. We have a place in Yachats, right at the North end of town, and were down for the weekend as well. I'm not a huge fan of Out of Gas, though it's not bad (they're pizza is okay, their couple of sandwiches are mediocre). It's a solid place to go to snack on pizza and watch a game or two, though. Yeah, you should have tried Ona - we go there 2-3 times/month and love it. We also frequent the Drift Inn across the street from Ona.

I'll have to check out Little Brown Hen. We go down to Florence quite a bit and we've seen the cafe, but we always end up at Zebra Bar.

Was the Lloyd one the one where he looked like he was called for setting a pick? That was atrocious. All of the blatant picks they let teams get away with, MUCH closer to the receiver getting the ball, and they call that? Terrible. Also, I have Kaep on my fantasy team, and wanted the passing yards damnit.

Gotta give props to the Chargers right now, they're taking it to the Seahawks.

Doesn't help that the offense isn't giving the defense any rest time though. Offensive line being inconsistent and the struggles from not being at home once again popping up. Very frustrating, lot of time left though.
