My faith in this team is rising but never too early for 2014.

C- McCann
1B- Tex
2B- Kendrick (trade), let Cano go and use that money elsewhere, you can fill more positions
SS-Jeter,
3B- If no A-rod, sign a RH for one year, Michael Young?
OF- Ichiro, Soriano, Wells, Choo
Ben: Romine, Nunez, Almonte/Mesa/Williams, Nix/Adams/FA?

You left out the DH which I'm hoping could be Kendry Morales. He's also a fair backup for Tex at first. And also a FA.

...personally, I'd rather have the DH spot utilized as it is now...pretty much a "DH by committee".
