the Ducks offered more then 5 other RBs after they offered Taj, and yet somehow that didn't mean they were on the outs with him. It's a game of musical chairs with scholarships instead

and still better then no QB you suppose.... isn't White one of the highest rated QBs in the country???

Rodriguez was highly rated too, and rumor is he is falling behind Alie the walk on. QB is such a gamble either way. We are also looking to take 2 RB this cycle.

a recent Moseley article begs to differ

2. Given noncommittal reviews from the staff, and the limited situations in which Jeff Lockie and Jake Rodrigues saw the field last fall, fans are still wondering which one of the backup quarterbacks would get the call if the need arose in a meaningful situation. Personally, my amateur opinion was that Lockie had the edge coming into this spring but that Rodrigues had a strong month, particularly in last week’s scrimmage.

Rodrigues says he’s finally at full strength, after having a procedure over the offseason to address lingering effects from the catastrophic lower leg injury that ended his high school career. “I feel awesome, 100 percent again,” Rodrigues said. “Spring has been great. We had a lot of fun. It’s a different feeling than the two springs I’ve been through before this. Every guy did what they were supposed to do and got better.”

you say that like it's a fact. With only 14-15 scholarships, and only Ayele running out of eligibility I doubt they take a 2nd RB unless he's to be moved to WR

Brady White will announce this Friday afternoon... it's between ASU Cal & Oregon

Biggins and Hopkins say we offered too late with White and he is going to ASU. Unknown if we will offer Waller. We may wait out until end of the cycle to try to flip Bennett or just get hobbs 2.o

Fresno DT Jacob Daniel relayed that his plane has touched down in PDX. He's visiting for the Spring Game this weekend

so Lemiuex committed, rumor is we may get another commit shortly from one of the other spring game visitors

So I have noticed. Lemiuex was a good pick up for sure.

Who is next? Who was at the Spring Game?

Also, Ty Griffin, brother of Taj Griffin, is transfering out of Georgia Tech to Oregon. I guess this means we lock up Taj.

On the negative side, QB recruit outlook doesn't look too good. Guess we better invest in next year.

Who was at the Spring Game?

Jacob Daniel, Shane Lemieux, Timmy Lynott, Kevin Estes, Taj & Ty Griffin were the headliners. Lynott is thought to be the other guy possibly committing. Daniel has said that he'll be announcing in the next few weeks but no word on how anyone's visit went... well besides Lemieux

Kevin Estes? Who's he? Glad to see we are in good graces with Lynott though.

What are we recruiting him as? WR? TAZR? DB? Or is he a Dual Threat QB ala Manziel/Murray?

Adam Gorney of rivals relays that Fresno DT Jacob Daniel told him his decision in a couple weeks will be between USC & Oregon

Splendid news.

Also, Torrance Gibson has us in his top 15, but he's either going to Auburn, Tennessee, or tOSU IMO. He seems like a Masoli/Tyrone Swoopes to me. More athlete than a QB.

Oregon offers Ohio MLB Nick Conner

Ohio State or Michigan or MSU is not letting him go. Not by a long shot. Hell, even Penn State may grab him considering their Linebacker U status along with James Franklin killing recruiting.

Paraphrasing, here's an appropriate David Lee Roth quote... "I don't get all the women I want, I get all the women who want me"

Not every kid wants to stay home. Most do, but not all. Especially now with the Lyles sanctions limiting the coach's contact & the prospects OVs, does it make sense that they'd just be pissing away their limited recruiting opportunities on complete long shots? Every NSD presser they talk about their "process" and how in depth they go in learning about a kid before they offer. I'm believing that with their decades together and watershed successes that the coaches more or less know what they're doing.

I suppose, but I don't want to get my hopes up. We got burned too many times last January.

Lewis is a Florida commit but he was recently quoted as saying UO is his "dream school". With the recent offer he's said he'll be visiting over the summer

Awesome! Love this kid!

Kind of out of nowhere Arden key tweeted top 5, listed oregon as #1. CeCe jefferson and Cowart decide to go to the same school. Cowart says Oregon leads but slightly for him. CECE seems to be all miami but is getting evaluated by Oregon. Good year for Miami would hurt oregons chances here. The statement alone does not help with Cowart.

CeCe wand Cowart want to go to the same school together? That right?

Miami is breaking in a new QB, so I don't seem them getting good unlike last year.

If we can get Key, Cowart, AND Jefferson I will not complain a single bit, even if we sign only one DT and one more OL. Not even losing out on Murray because of this defensive haul
