I hate say it, but Dodgers are my team. My dad grew up there and since there is no Portland team, the fandom has been passed on.

I envy you. My dad never watched baseball. My dad was a basketball and a tennis junky and that's pretty much all we watched. But he did play catch with me in the back. I'll give him that. Probably kept asking himself why I wasn't working on my jumper.

My dad is retired now and plays tennis 2-3 times a week. I get even with him by saying, "Hey Jimmy Connors. Ilie Nastase called. He wants his headband back." Drives him bonkers. But we are cool otherwise.

I picked up the CD with the live bonus tracks yesterday and it reminded me of seedy Mexican pot and good times

You know what album they need to re-release with any bonus tracks they have in the hopper. Montrose's (self titled) debut. That album is the single most underrated rock album in history. If Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top are worth reintroducing to the mainstream every few years.... Ronnie's licks deserved to be mentioned in the same breath.

Holy shit, so I watched the first pitch during my family's Sunday dinner, went home for an hour, took my daughter home and drove back (2 1/2 hours) and we just now getting to the 9th inning?
