Why isnt it right? Conference doesnt matter when deciding 1 seeds and those were 3 of the top 4 teams all year.
It feels way too similar to the "SEC" bias of college football in my opinion.
Meh, it's just hard on numbers and metrics. Doesnt usually happen. If Tennessee beat Auburn they couldve been a 1.
Fortunately, unlike the SEC football bias keeping teams out of a tiny 4-team tournament, this only affects seeding, and the difference between getting a 1 seed or a 2 really isn't material. If the Big 10 and SEC teams really deserve higher seeding, they'll have the chance to prove it on the court.
In theory the one seed has the path of least resistance as well. I agree with you. Just dont like it lol.
I checked it out. Pretty good man! Looked like you were ranked 90 something out of 195 brackets. Your score of 63 on teams seeded correctly +/-1 was really good. The top score in that category was 65 and only a few of those. Looks like Having TCU, NC State, and Clemson incorrectly hurt you the most, Lots of 66's and 67's in that category. Overall, very impressive!
