ATTENTION ALL: willing to trade a top 10 WR for the right RB deal, hit me up!

I remember when I had Mariota, Dion Lewis, and Corey davis wish they had of played this well back then...

I don't want to speak for Bones, but it's gotta be a regular season award.
Well if it includes playoff weeks I wanted to ask how the bye weeks would be factored in. I assume it's just regular season though. Looking at the money amounts, the weekly high scores continue through the playoffs though, which is nice.

I find it annoying I cant drop players now. Id at least get the satisfaction of dropping a bunch of guys to feel like I accomplished something lol

I have a very unique and interesting playoff structure idea for next year if we have 10 teams, that I think you guys might like.
Weeks 1-9: Regular Season (Everyone plays each other once)
Weeks 10-12: Preliminaries
Weeks 13: 1st Round
Week 14: Semi-Finals
Week 15 & 16: Championship

Here's how it'd work:
Going into Week 10, the top 4 teams would have guaranteed playoff spots.

Automatic Qualifiers (Seeds 1, 2, 3, & 4)
During Weeks 10-12, each team would play each other for top 4 seeding. We could either do it where the seeding is still dependent upon record over the first 12 weeks, or it could be dependent upon how each team does during this 3-game stretch (if a team goes 3-0, they'd be the 1 seed, etc). If two teams were tied, the team with the better record over the season would get the higher seed.

Preliminaries (Seeds 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10)
Essentially, these teams have to play their way into the playoffs over weeks 10-12. Here's how it'd go:
Seeds 5-6 play a two-week matchup. The winner makes the playoffs. The loser plays the play-in winner from seeds 7-10
Seeds 7-10 play in a four-team bracket to determine a play-in participant.

Essentially:
Week 10: 7v10, 8v9. The losers of these matchups are eliminated. 5v6 play the 1st leg of their 2-week matchup.
Week 11: The winners of 7v10 and 8v9 play each other. 5v6 play the 2nd leg of their 2-week matchup.
Week 12: The loser of 5v6 plays the winner of the 7-10 matchups for the 6th and final seed.

Playoffs would be structured like this:
Week 13: 3v6, 4v5, 1 & 2 have BYES.
Week 14: 1v4/5, 2v3/6
Weeks 15 & 16: Two week championship matchup.

Let me know what you guys think of this. I could make alterations to this as well if you wish, or we could keep doing what we've done this year.

You're finally ready, after 3 years, to make a trade?

...when you finish 2nd and 1st the last two years there isn't much need to switch things up, currently sitting in 4th place is uncharted waters :dunno: :biglaugh:

Even if you last, I still think you wouldn't have. I think you're incapable offering a fair deal.

In my opinion, the regular season should always last through week 12 otherwise you have players still having their bye weeks during the preliminaries or the playoffs. I don't think anyone should be penalized because their players have a week 12 bye instead of a week 6 bye or whatever if that makes sense. I'm also not a fan of two week matchups. In a perfect world we'd have 12 teams with 3 divisions of 4 teams so you play the other 3 in your division a 2nd time.

Your plan is very well thought out, for me I prefer the more traditional playoff approach.

Disclaimer: This is just my opinion and not an attack in any way.

...yeah, seems like with all of the public fun we are having this year it will be easy to get 12 teams next year :bgrin:

I agree it is well thought out and interesting to see other possibilities to keep excitement, but I agree with @hoopsjock . Bye weeks would affect playoffs, so that is a turn off for me. I would like to keep it regular season through week 13 and then playoffs like the current format.

Good point. That just adds another layer of strategy, IMO.

Lions and Patriots D gonna make me more competitive in the playoffs! Thanks Buffalo and The Peterman!
