@HAAK72 Don't send me BS like that ever again.

...don't ever re-neg on anything, ever again! You are so hard-up for trade action on a player that has done absolutely nothing. If you had money to bet, I'd offer a side bet that Ryan Grant finishes with more points than Flash Nobody by the end of this season :dunno:

Enough of the stupid BS. If he does nothing, fine. Grant ain't shit. Gordon has immense upside. That's like saying you'd rather have Vince Carter than Anfernee Simons. Get outta here.

Not quite the best analogy in a one year league. Now if it was a keeper league that is a different story.

You know what I'm talking about.

It's a comparison for upside. Simons has long term upside, Goes on has this-year upside. A guy with a floor of 0 and ceiling of 10 is more valuable than a guy with a floor and ceiling of 1.

@BonesJones the issue I’m having when looking at it is. Gordon’s more talented than the guys I’d be willing to give up, but on the other side the guys I’d be willing to give up have at least played and will probably continue to get targets. I’m a little concerned about trading for Gordon and having him get suspended again.

You’ve got an interesting player there it’s gonna be hard to get someone to offer equal talent.

It's an upside play. How much do toy wanna gamble for a potential top 5 WR?

I understand I’m just saying it’s hard in my opinion to come up with a trade that both sides would be happy with for Gordon. There’s a reason why NE only had to give up a 5th rounder.

And if he doesn't play at least 10 of the 14 games remaining for NE then the Browns have to give NE a 7th rounder.

Wow, the hype train is strong with this one!
@BonesJones you better just keep Gordon if he is so good. A. Brown didn't show up at work today, so you might need to find a replacement for him this week anyway.

When you mentioned that you put Gordon on the trade block, I immediately only thought of giving up a bench player. He is not worth trading a starter for, just my non-expert fantasy player opinion.

yeah I am in no way trying to argue with Bones here, I think we all know Gordon’s really good, but theres a ton of risk there too. In order to give bones somewhat equalish talent would mean giving up a talented player that doesnt have as much risk. I was looking at WR’s I could offer (Corey Davis and Dede Westbrook) both have had pretty averageish numbers for a WR this year and thats probably who they are, will consistantly get 10-17ish points. I would think about doing Cooper Kupp but he’s the third option for the rams after Cooks and Robert woods. he’s consistant too. Gordon if playing is better than all of them though, the problem is well we havent actually seen Gordon stay on the field for a long time now and im just not sure Id give up a consistant performer for a giant question mark. i recognize he’s on par talent wise with Cooks and maybe even OBJ but theres no way Id give up on them for Gordon.
What bones has said is true for the most part its just a really hard deal at least for me someone else maybe in the go big or go home mode and Id understand it.

So Grant for Gordon and he backed out? I wanted to pick up Grant last week, but decided to go with Kittle (I dropped Breida and of course he went off).

I'm potentially looking for a RB. Looks like Ajayi may be out this weekend and Freeman still looks to be out for me as well. I could trade one of the injured guys if you are interested, or most likely, one of my WR's. I'm just looking for a 1 for 1 trade, but if you want to offer a bigger package im open to trade talks.

when I get a chance I’ll take a look see if anything sparks my interest.

So he's your WR5 but he's going to possibly be a top 5 WR in the whole league?
Yes, he was the 5th WR I drafted, but he could potentially be my WR2.

It's funny when y'all play dumb.

I'm glad someone gets it!

It would be dumb to not see whay offers are at there. This is a pretty stingy league when it comes to trades though. I should see if Perez wants him, he's a Pats fan.

I was waiting for that reaction, was 99% sure it was going to be from Bones though lol.
Before I vote, what is your possible reasoning for this trade? I would understand trading Fournette for a healthy RB, even at a slight downgrade but for another injured RB of lesser value seems weird. Fournette was expected to practice today too.

my reasoning is this I like my starting rb’s right now. They both get targets and carries. Fournette is oft hurt and in “questionable” mode. He’s very consistent when he plays. Ajayi will have more bad games then Fournette but he also has some incredible games. In my opinion he’s more boom / bust than fournette. However outside of OBJ I dont really have any guys that are going to “boom” very much. I won while Fournette was benched last week because of injuries.

I realize overall Fournette is the more consistent player (when healthy, both are questionable for this weekend). I just want some more players who I believe can have one of those crazy 30 point games here and there. I see fournette as a consistent 15-20 point guys.

Also I believe Fournette will be injured / questionable more often due to his style and how Jacksonville has been with him so far in his career.

Okay, some follow up questions...

1) Did you attempt to see if Fournette could land you anyone better than Ajayi? Did I miss something where he was on the block?

2) Just curious why you took Fournette at 13? It was like this with him all of last year too.

Edit: I am only asking such specific questions because I normally don't like to interfere by vetoing trades that were agreed to by both sides, especially this early in the season where it's obviously not collusion. This trade seems heavily one sided though.

1.) I didnt, but no one offered either.
2.) I didnt play last year. I thought he was going to be one of my consistent starters this year, and so far he hasnt been. He’s barely played.

Also I think Ajayi is going to get the ball a lot in philly and I think having wentz back helps him more even if he doesnt play this week. He did play well with a team who’s best qb was ryan tannehill.

No, Ajayi is not going to get the ball a lot in Philly. Corey Clement takes some of Ajayi's carries and Clement is in during the passing downs (3rd and long). Ajayi only has 22 caries in 2 games. Fournette has 9 carries in 1 half of a game.
Last season, Fournette put up 100 more points than Ajayi. Fournette has more big game potential again this year.
Sorry, but this is a terribly one sided trade and should be vetoed.
