Gotta love Channing Frye. He seems like a really cool guy.

Apparently, I need to bold the first half of the quote... "So this is not about leaving a team or joining a great team. It’s about you and your team."
Here it is:
NO TECH....
This is the long and short reason of why I'd never even attempt to be an NBA official.
How is that not a tech?!
Sounds like all sides are happy he doesn’t care about them, they don’t care about him. Now hopefully come 2020 we can do our best to not nominate sleazeballs. So he decided not to invite them after they said they wouldn't go?

Why, what’s the point... why delay the inevitable... I want this series to end tonight so everyone can move on to trade discussions and the draft.Lebron has been really good this series, like borderline amazing. I want to see him just come out and dominate tonight at least make it a 5 game series, go down swinging haymakers. One guy in the NBA I think capable of doing it, it’s Lebron.

Because Lebron is one of the best players to ever play and I like basketball, I want to see great players. Sure I may not be a “Lebron fan”, but he’s an awesome Basketball player. Why, what’s the point... why delay the inevitable... At least you posted it in the same thread and didn't make a whole new thread about it.Clown-Town actually took time to let everybody know he wasn't sending an invite to the white house for either team. You can't make this shit up bro.

Larry Miller set up a visit to the white house years ago while we were on a roadtrip. My wife had to ship my suit to me out on the road. Had never been more excited about an opportunity in my life. Day before, it got cancelled because they wanted to move it to that night and we had to fly on to the next city. We didn't know why, so our head of security jokingly told me that I got red flagged and they had to cancel it. Let me think that was the reason for ONE WHOLE DAY!!!!! I felt like shit. I'd never been got like I did that day I tell ya!Remember when being invited to the White House was considered an honor? Sigh...

Wouldn't go today if they paid me.Remember when being invited to the White House was considered an honor? Sigh...

Wouldn't let you in.Wouldn't go today if they paid me.
You'd go?Wouldn't let you in.
Did you read the part where he says he'll look at cases recommended by the players who protest and pardon people if they were unfairly treated?Clown-Town actually took time to let everybody know he wasn't sending an invite to the white house for either team. You can't make this shit up bro.

Of course I would. I'd tell Trump about all the stupid things I've seen him do. There's been plenty. I'd also tell him to cancel his twitter account. You'd go?

Teams visiting is more of a moral thing for the teams and their fans. It used to mean a lot. I used to always think it was very cool to see the players faces meeting the president of our country. Unfortunate it doesn't hold the same weight as it did. Not a huge thing, but a very cool thing.

Honestly, I never cared.
However, republicans disrespected Obama at every turn, kept him from getting much done. Now the Democrats are returning the favor, and it's funny when Obama was president the Democrats liked to point out that hey you should respect him he's the president, and the republicans never did. Now those same people who treated Obama like crap are trying to lecture these athletes about how they're being disrespectful. It's both frustrating and comical.
You know what the Democrats were completely right, people should have treated Obama better, I didn't like his policies, or agenda, but he was the president, he deserved way better than he got. I actually kind of thought his personality and demeanor were refreshing, and I enjoyed him.
Here's the thing though, not only did the republicans find someone democrats disagree'd with, they found someone who seems to enjoy pissing them off at every turn. Trump is in no way a peacemaker, and if you can't as a leader even try to bring peace among the people who you claim to lead then you get what you have here. Eventually it'd be nice to see Trump at least try to bring in some high profile athletes, who disagree with him and say let's talk, but he won't he'll just tweet at them or make statements about how unpatriotic they are... If Trump said ok Lebron and Kap, and whomever let's meet somewhere talk about what we can do, try to find somewhere we can at least begin the conversation you guys want to have, and the athletes said no, I would be annoyed at the athletes, but at this point Trump doesn't want to talk, he wants to keep driving the division. It's sad because if I have learned one thing it's that people from different ways of life, whether it's race, culture, religions, whatever can teach you a lot if you talk to them, and treat them well. When Trump and company shut people down simply because they disagree he hurts not only himself, but because he's our president he ultimately hurts our country.
Of course I would. I'd tell Trump about all the stupid things I've seen him do. There's been plenty. I'd also tell him to cancel his twitter account.
I'd become his chief of staff or get sent to Guantanamo Bay but I'd tell him what's up if I had the chance.
He can hire me and actually be right. He only hires the bestest
