...I know some of you follow the NFL and have favorite teams and may have your sights on tomorrow's draft and may have certain players in mind to fill your team's needs.

...I've been a Raider fan for nearly as long as I've been a Yankees fan and the Raiders have done well drafting players in recent years and IMO, they need to address their defense as well as RB. And personally I hope their first 2 or 3 picks all come from my state of Georgia...With pick #10 in the first round I think they should draft linebacker Roquan Smith and then somehow snag Sony Michel and Nick Chubb with their next 2 picks.

...feel free to add your own draft picks for your own teams.

I'd love to see both DE-Bradley Chubb and RB-Nick Chubb on the Raider's. If they can't land Nick, I'd hope to see Bo Scarborough at AL- RB, Chubb over Bo-

It's a tough call B. Chubb DE-NC St,- or Roquan Smith OLB- I'd take Roquan over Bradley in a heart beat, 1st pick?? imo would be smarter move, Smith is much faster side to side, and would complement Khalil Mack stuffing holes, than a DE would be. Hell, let's take 'em all....

other possibles, IF they don't land the aforementioned:
Minkah Fitzpatrich AL-Safety, would/should be a lights out Safety imo.
Vita Vea WA-DT, could help plug the inside, even tho' Justin Ellis makes a DT pick seem improbable...
Tremain Edmunds VT-LB? nah-meh... take Roquan in a heart beat.

Give Gruden a draft or 2, and he'll have a Defensive Ass Kicking Monster. We know Gruden will not settle for mediocrity. T/Raiders are the only Team in all of Caly worth talking about. It's an effing shame Vegas is calling....

I'll get back on this post, I've yet to really look deep at this years draft

I would like my jets to simply not take the qb that ends up being a bust
Ideally i would like darnold if not then rosen..i DO nOT WANT baker

that is the Jets right, not the Cleveland Brownies-doh- :hcp:

Broadway Joe slayed Goliath, Roll Tide Roll. Irony SB I-III won by Bear Bryant students -??? RTR...

That's my thinking on R. Smith.

Fitzpatrick is a fine player too.

I’ve been a die hard Giants going back when Yankee Stadium was their home turf........
really miss those days......this Giants’ team is caught between a rock and a hard place.
Getting a premier RB was a no brainer. Now they need to get OL picks; otherwise,
any RB will have a tough time getting ground yards.
Unfortunately, the Giants have many needs and not enough picks in this draft.

Me too Cage since I was 6 years old.

The Giants made the obvious pick and got a monster RB.

Now that I've had time to digest missing out on drafting Roquan Smith, I'm OK with drafting Miller, a possible franchise OL man to protect Carr...not to mention that when I woke this morning I discovered that the Raiders flipped that extra draft pick they acquired from Arizona and traded that pick to Pittsburgh in return for WR Martavis Bryant.

Granted that Bryant had his issues in Pittsburgh but maybe a change of scenery will change that and considering the Raiders only gave up a extra 3rd round pick, they basically got Bryant for free.

Carr throwing to Martavis Bryant and Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson...wow, that could be the most dangerous receiving trio in the NFL...all in all, smart moves by Jon Gruden and Reggie McKenzie.

I see that the damned Pats snagged Sony Michel...oh well, Nick Chubb is still out there...and the Raiders have a TON of draft picks this year.

^^^^Raiders are making smart moves in collecting extra draft picks.........something
the Giants still do not know how to do! That’s why I feel it will take the Giants longer
to get to championship level again. Raiders will get there sooner.

Have to laugh. Some Giant analysts already are putting Barkley into the Hall of Fame!!!!!! These
guys have no clue. Anything can happen to put a damper on such dreams.

Me too cage. Now get ready to welcome guard Will Hernandez with pick number 34. The first Hog Molly in the fold.

Yeah, you just never know for sure how well a college player transitions to the NFL, but I don't think I have ever seen a RB with a body like Barkley's... He cleans 405 lbs and runs a 4.3 40 ?...
he's an absolute monster.

...the only reason they traded away the #10 pick was because the damned Bears stole the guy the Raiders were gonna pick.

^^^^ I was kind of taken off guard by t/Bears pick...

from USA Today:

With Carr set at quarterback, the Raiders can try to fill other needs in a draft bursting with high-level quarterback talent. They had been expected to tab a defensive player with their top pick after finishing last season ranked 23rd in the league in total yards yielded and 20th in points allowed.

The club was thought to be interested in Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith, who looked like an ideal replacement for middle linebacker NaVorro Bowman, now a free agent. But the Chicago Bears took Smith at No. 8, opening the door for Oakland to increase its draft pick inventory by dropping five spots. The club came in with 11 selections, four of them in the sixth round

Is it just me? Pro football has become the 21st century new melodramatic soap opera. The game
itself has become secondary compared to characters playing or not playing the game! Only espn
can run a draft show for 6 hours with all their drama-rama......when all I am interested in is the
draft itself. Such boring bullshit.

we had the draft out here on 4 different channels, Fox, NFL, ESPN, and ESPN-1. Kind of pissed me off at 8pm, the nerve to pre-empt "Gotham"...

Just to add.......who the fuck is interested in the size of a guy’s biceps and neck size!!!
My god.....can they be anymore lost?
