So is my family.I for one am happy we aren't playing on Christmas.
Can't believe they didn't go with Boston-Brooklyn and OKC-Houston.
Disagree, I think they're disappointed you might be home.So is my family.

Sir, I’m quite sure NATIONALLY, basketball fans would rather watch the Pels next season than us, 99 out of 100 times. Sorry.I get Zion is there and all that but, to put New Orleans against the Nuggets for Christmas seems so silly... It really should be Portland vs the Nuggets, same division, just played literally one of the best 7 game series' in the history of the league, it was a ridiculously competitive series!!! Dame has balled out, he's proven he's a top 10 NBA player and deserves to be in their "highlighted" games.
Only good thing is that hopefully the Blazers and the crew get to see their families for Christmas.
It’s not out yet son.Why not give a link to the schedule?

Blazers deserve to be in those type of games really more than Denver or NO, but especially NO. I get they’re trying to hype Zion.Sir, I’m quite sure NATIONALLY, basketball fans would rather watch the Pels next season than us, 99 out of 100 times. Sorry.
HCP just wants the day off, which is fair. This is looking like a pretty strong Christmas Day, can't complain about it.Blazers deserve to be in those type of games really more than Denver or NO, but especially NO. I get they’re trying to hype Zion.
Nationally, I have no idea, but Denver vs Portland makes sense. On a much bigger level then Denver and New Orleans, if you really want to try to show off Zion, why not pit him against Ja Morant and Memphis and try to hype it up as the two up and coming young teams with #1 and two picks. It also plays into divisions rivalries. Though I realize those are becoming a thing of the past.
With you on both points.HCP just wants the day off, which is fair. This is looking like a pretty strong Christmas Day, can't complain about it.

I know I amDisagree, I think they're disappointed you might be home.![]()
Sorry man, usually the morning they release the Christmas Day schedule, the teams release their individual schedules that afternoon.Isn’t the thread called Blazers 2019-20 schedule?
All it took was a couple of decades and a championship to get a Christmas game...
I had no idea.I wonder what it will take to get an ASG in Portland....

Yours is better than mine. I was gonna say, about 100 years....29 other team folding and the cities of Las Vegas, Reno, LA, New Orleans, Miami, all imploding. And the adaption of the rule that states only a team with a current NBA team can host the ASG.
That's also when Nurkic is scheduled to return. Ease him back with less critical games. The key for me in these schedules is Jan/Feb-- I want that portion to be home heavy and with cupcake teams then so we can bulk up on wins.
