I have us targetting Chuma Okeke or Mfiondu Kabengele. Matisse Thybulle or Chikezie Okpala could be available as well, although I expect some of them to rise a bit during the combine. I wouldn't mind any of these guys, other than that I'll need some time to get used to spelling their names correctly.

Idk who I even like. I like Bitadze's upside, I guess. Lots of meh, though.

I fully believe youi'll be able to get an equally good player around 16-22 as you'll get in the 5-10 range this draft. We'll be seeing a lot of 'wow how did this guy get drafted so low' threads in a year or 6 from now. We'll also be seeing a lot of 'how the hell did this guy get drafted in the lottery' threads.

I think itll be more of the latter. This draft isnt good.
 
Id love to trade up for Hachimura. Some 2md round guys Id look at is Naz Reid and Robert Franks.
 
Id be really happy trading Harkless and thebpick for Taurean Prince though. Thats the #1 move we need to make this off-season.
 
Or Meyers plus the pick for Olynyk.

Combine that with a 2020 1st and Harkless for Prince and wed probably open up the Full MLE and get our Kanter replacement and Harkless upgrade.

His defense has been really bad though. Dame+CJ+Prince isn't a great combination, unless he really picks it up on the defensive end.

Thats how I feel about most of this years draft, Im sure a couple guys will surprise, but everyone Ive watched has been, uninspiring for the most part.

Weird stat:
4 year player.
His 3FG% has gone up every year.
His FT% has gone down every year.

I honestly have no idea what that means.

edit: He is listed as an SF, but I wonder if he'll play 2G in the NBA. We have a lot of 2Gs right now.

It reminds me of the 1997 draft. Tim Duncan at the top, 1-2 other guys who are hyped as possibly really good (Van Horn and Billups). This draft has Zion Williams at the top and 1-2 other guys who are hyped as possibly really good (Jorah Mormont, RJ Barrett).

And very little beyond that. 1997 did have Tracy McGrady, but he was only valued enough at the time to be the #9 pick.

At 17, Zion measured (Hoop Summit) :

6'5" w/o shoes
273 lbs.

Sucks that he skipped the combine.

Whoa, when did they start compiling all this? There's so much historical data here-- great info. Thought it was all gone when DX closed shop.

It's been accessible for a few years now.
 
Simons at the time of the combine was 6'3 and had a 6'9 wingspan. Wonder if he's grown.

I could totally get some shots off in that scrimmage! I'd make at least 3!

He decent defender can shoot the 3 and missing FT is more about being focus at the line. His technique might be a little off that probably can be corrected. I watched him play and hit some clutch shots when the game counted. But to draft your kind of duplicating Trent.
 
I want Kabengele out of this draft. Plus, I think there is as much talent in the second round as there is at the end of the first, as projected. I'd love to have a couple guys from the second round to see if they could stick ie Paschall, Fall, Bazley, Shittu, G Williams, Windler, McDaniels, Cook. There's a reason they are projected where they are but I also think a few of these guys will be good pro's.
 
I ran into the Oregon team at a restaurant/bar in Bellevue when they were up here playing UW. Bol was injured at the time but I went up and asked to get a pic with him, he refused though cause I had a drink in my hand and was wasted:)

Seemed like a nice kid.

I lived in Kirkland for a year in 2006 and I never got to meet Bol Bol.
