I think that depends on his defensive abilities, instincts work ethic. Stotts would find him minutes even without good decision making on the offensive end if he can actually take the opponents best wing on the defensive end. That's a lot to ask of a rook, but he already has the physical tools to lockdown on the defensive end. Offense can come in time. Don't get me wrong, I would be shocked if he got +10min/game, but I do think he could hit rotation a few months in.I have to disagree. The knock on him is that his on court decision making is well behind his physical talent. He has the tools, but he has to learn to use them. Frankly, I expect Stotts to bury him the way he did Simons. If he cracks the rotation before year 3, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Hey my man got drafted 59th I think!Sitting at JFK waiting to fly home and this kid sits down across from me. He was wearing some NBA Draft combined gear. Said he was good friends with our very owns Anfernee Simons. Wished him luck in the draft and said I might see him in Vegas this summer. Looked him up curious to see his story..... OUCH

Atlanta has the potential to be pretty sick in a few years.
Atlanta
Memphis
New Orleans
I like the future of all 3
True. What do you guys think of Nassir Little? From what I've read about him, he could be exactly the type of player the Blazers need at the 3, if he develops a reliable outside shot.
Robert Franks.A few interesting guys I think went undrafted: Bowen, Naz Reid, Tacko Fall, Kris Wilkes, Ky Bowman, Dort and King. Actually, lot of guys with Pacific Coast ties. Wouldn't mind seeing them get a few of them in summer league, see if they might be worth a two-way contract.
I think we actually worked out Bowman, who is close to an NBA ready point guard, who is strong with the ball and can shoot it pretty well. Thought he might get picked late. Could be an option for cheap PG depth.

Neil said they tried a bit to get into the 2nd round but the prices team were asking for were crazy. Like 4 future second or a protected first.
I started a blog about basketball this week, it’s still under construction but if anyone could give a click, it would be nice
I just made a post this morning about 5 headlines from the draft, and of course expand on them
1. Star power
2. Trades and Offseason Intrigue
3. Three teams adding three first round picks (small break down of each team/player)
4.Bol Bols night
5. one loser- The Suns
Just a click would be cool even if you don’t read it.

Thanks bruhs
haha shit. Thanks!
What in the actual fuck is Phoenix doing?Cam Johnson is 10 months older than Devin Booker.
That's all fair. However, no one ever said he was a sure thing. If he doesn't end up having work ethic and motor issues like that implies then he has all the skills to be an absolute star in this league. Not trying to start an argument with any Bazley fans; just wanted to post an alternate view:
"He dodged all competition possible by vacating his commitment to Syracuse in favor of the G League, abandoning his plan to compete in the G League in favor of a nebulous internship with the apparel company, then went to the combine and tested well. So he got picked.
Those who watched him play a lot in high school weren't always wild about how he competed at that level. He averaged only 15.4 points against middling competition as a senior at Princeton High in suburban Cincinnati.
In its final rankings of the class of 2018, 247 Sports ranked him only 23rd. One of its analysts, Brian Snow, tweeted on the eve of the draft a prescient statement: "The value that the NBA places on the unknown is something I will never understand. But dear god, they love what they don't know."https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba...wild-night-of-picks/4lku6nsxtn1h1o7h1mxcyj3tl
They wasted a year of tanking for Baynes, Johnson and Okpala and lost TJ Warren. What in the actual fuck is Phoenix doing?
It's even worse. They traded the pick that was Okpala to get rid of Warren's salary. They wasted a year of tanking for Baynes, Johnson and Okpala and lost TJ Warren.
Thought they got a pick back from BOS. NVM!It's even worse. They traded the pick that was Okpala to get rid of Warren's salary.
