As for Rosen, I think that kid can play. He made some throws vs the Seahawks last season that really wow'd me.

To me saying, "It's the NFL" is even more reason to drop down and try to pick up more assets. Like it or hate it the NFL is about value, you have to get as much value as you can out of every asset you have. He would've been available later.

Exactly my point. That guy was a 2nd round pick at best.

I hate that one of the teams I hate the most got who I believe to be the best QB in the draft.

Context matters. Rosen didn’t have anyone outside of old Larry Fitzgerald, David Johnson (coming off injury), and a rookie Christian Kirk. Also, coaching staff was awful, offensive line was bad (sacked 45 times). You don’t give up on someone after a year.

It's the NFL...

Value matters and Murray was Kliff's guy.

Plus Rosen is an asshole.

Honestly, I'm kind of annoyed at the Cardinals anyway, firing a coach after one year in the NFL is garbage especially when you don't give that Coach any weapons. At least Cleveland Gave Hue some time. I don't want to turn this into a "racial" thing but in my mind, if you're going to hire a minority coach, you should give them a real chance to succeed and they didn't. It looks bad, even if race had nothing to do with it to give him a shot for a year with basically no roster and fire him, especially when you turn around and hire a white guy who was lucky just to have an offensive coordinator position at USC...

Sorry, I know this isn't the right place to get into that topic.

We will see. If Miami really did pick up Rosen, I am happy he is out of the NFC West though.

Rosen is an asshole, won’t get a debate out of me on that one.

I agree it was a Bush League move by Arizona. I don’t believe it was racial, just more of the cut throat nature of the NFL.

HORRIBLE optics though.

I don't know if it was race or not but it bothered me in a lot of ways...
I understand it, although I don’t think Wilks was a good hire anyway. I also think Kliff is a horrible hire on the surface level, he can change that but... no reason to believe the guy who lead Texas Tech to mediocrity will make an NFL team a contender. Though, he does have the Mahomes feather in his cap.

I think Kyler Murray is one of the better quarterback prospects lately--I like him better coming out of school than recent past #1s like Mayfield, Goff (or Wentz, the #2), Winston, etc. He has pretty much every desirable trait except for height--composed pocket presence, accuracy at every level of the field, decision-making, athleticism to evade sacks, the speed to pick up yards scrambling and a strong arm. If he were 6'3'', he'd have universally been considered a can't-miss quarterback prospect and I simply don't think his height is enough of a detriment. Drew Brees and Russell Wilson have shown that size doesn't hold you back when you have plenty of other skills.

Now that the Cards have their QB they will need to address their O Line in the next few rounds.

I’m in the boat of understanding why the Giants took Jones>Haskins.

Jones has three years of experience in one of the best conferences in the country, great size, probably interviewed well, and no pressure to start day 1 with Eli there. Haskins while very talented only played one year, and while that was an outstanding statistical year he also had some of the best skill position players in the country next to him, a good o-line, Urban Meyer as a coach, and a system that covers up a lot of warts for QBs. I can’t remember the last time Ohio State produced a quality NFL starting QB?
I don't think people are laughing at them for thinking Jones is better than Haskins. It's because they took Jones at 6 when he would have pretty much guaranteed to still be on the board at #17 (evident by the fact no one took Haskins until 15). Heck, they might have been able to get Jones in the 2nd round.

There wasn't another QB drafted in the first round so...

LOVE my Eagles getting Andre Dillard!!

Now for Running Back.
Didn't you trade for (or perhaps more appropriately steal) Jordan Howard? I think it was for just a 5th round pick or something like that. He's a really good back.

They did have Dennis Green (RIP) as coach too so I don't think it's a racial thing. It does look really stupid to fire a coach after one season when everyone knows the team is going to suck, unless it's Jim Tomsula as that guy should've never gotten a head coaching job. Then to hire a guy who got fired in college is just bad optics.

Holy SHIT! I missed that!!!

We're talking Bears' Howard right??

OMG googling now...

Yes, they got that Howard!

Howard to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2020 sixth-round draft pick. Conditions of the trade could potentially flex the pick to a 2020 fifth-rounder.

Yes, they got that Howard!

THEY GOT THAT MUTHAFUCKA FOR A BOWL OF STEAM!!!!

CONDITIONAL 6TH ROUNDER?????

If I'm the Cards I'm taking Jawaan Taylor here to start building that line or a WR weapon for Murray.

But no they take defense.

I want Seattle to get Winovich or Greedy so bad today.

I would've fortified the O Line first. I hope they don't put Murray through a tough year like they did to Rosen. That's just brutal.

Luckily for Kyler he is mobile, but that in itself could be dangerous as his body isn’t built for hits.

Jags just jumped my 49ers. They're after a WR or Taylor I'm guessing.
