Seattle has drafted quite a few WRs, a lot in a recent memory... Golden Tate, Paul Richardson, Tyler Lockett, Amara Darboh, I’m sure I’m missing a couple.

Wait... what? Lockett is one of the best WRs in the NFL man. He just had a 50+ catch, 950+ yard, and 10+ TD season, not to mention Wilson had a literal perfect passer rating when throwing to Lockett last season.

Paul Richardson also got paid a ton by the Redskins because of the ability he showed in Seattle.

Those guys are very hard to replicate, and I'd be scared as a Seahawk fan if they're trying to replicate almost impossible to replicate players. Seems like a team would overvalue the similarities and undervalue the dissimilarities.

Extremely hard, but even if they can replicate 75% it’s a win.

With their iffy RB situation, they either need to commit to getting Wilson more talented targets in the passing game, or they need to make a move to upgrade at RB, instead of recycling "high-upside" guys that can't stay on the field.

With the offensive line improving, the receivers lives become a lot easier.

Yeah, a run-first team with mediocre RBs, and with a great QB. What does that say about the WR-group? Or the coaching staff?

I've watched him. I watch a lot of football. Never been impressed with their WRs, and you're probably a bit biased.

Meh, I refuse to believe it's just the offensive line. You have the best improv QB in the league and instead run mediocre RBs into the ground.

On a legitimate playoff team, I don't see Baldwin or Locket as a WR1. Locket is a borderline WR2.

First off, your a Seahawks fan, you're going to be a little biased. Trying to say he "split carries" but he had many more carries than Joe Mixon, Christian McCaffrey, James Connor, Melvin Gordon, etc. He was 7th in the league in carries. 4.7 average is solid but not great. He doesn't catch passes. He had the opportunity to play awful teams in San Fran and Arizona for a quarter of his season. Arizona was the worst run defense in the league. He's an average RB at best. I could probably name 15 RBs better than him.

Seahawk fans tend to get carried away with labeling players as "good". I know Rawls had injury issues but fans got carried away with him. Penny too. Now it's Carson.

He's not a Top 5 TE anymore. Maybe not even Top 10. He had the privilege of having Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball while trying to come back from deficits all season.

Wilson only had the 20th most pass attempts in the entire NFL (was still sacked 50+ times). Carson also missed two games to injury (was banged up a ton) and had 13 combined carries the first two weeks of the season on top of that. For him to finish with as much yardage as he did is amazing, considering his 4.7 yards per carry on heavy usage.

But your using "split carries" and "missed games" but "was still 5th in rushing yards" to try and make him sound better as if he didn't carry the ball as much as he did. That's a typical biased-fan argument. He's definitely not a top 10 RB.

Random thought. I like the way the NFL uses ex-players etc to announce the draft pick.

I'd like to see that used at the NBA draft too, seems to really change the vibe. There's Soo much room to grow that event.

I'm not sure the commish would let go of his big day in the sun though.
