Were all better than you so if we do you still cant talk! :dunno:
You don’t know who the fuck you’re talking to little boy! I was trained by the great Cream Biggums! You don’t want none of this jab step!

So how much street cred do I have? What places can I get into since we've hung out a couple times?

Like... upstairs in my house? Maybe?
The fact that we've hung out a couple times INSTANTLY moves you up the rankings around here. No question.

The BlazerGang is run by a fellow Grant General. Be careful, them boys can hoop.

Of course. I served in the military, I was trained to do my job, even when injured.
And so what job did you have to do in the military, when you were injured?

And what injury was that, that you had?

You mean you didn’t know that HCP stands for

Head
Cleaning
Person

Legend has it there wasn’t a cleaner bathroom on base than the one he was assigned to!

Okay, we got a Kellen Winslow Jr wannabe here comparing a sport to a real war.
I literally get mad at Athletes when they do that. “Were going to battle”, with this guy routine and acting like their basketball game is in anyway like actual warfare. The team did that the most was those KG, Paul Pierce and Allen Boston teams all time, that stuff drives me nuts... You’re playing a sport, you arent in a war.

And I get mad at ex-military people that have to talk about what a badass they were, when they were in. My Grandfather fought in North Africa and then Sicily, under Patton, in the 7th Infantry Division during WW2. He got lucky, and ended up coming home early. Turns out that he had gotten shot, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He never said one word about that to anyone. The family had absolutely no idea of that, until his VA records got pulled, after he passed away.

A REAL badass, already knows it, and wont feel the need to brag about it; to boost their ego....

'Course, HCP didn't actually bring up his job or any stories from his military service; simply said that while in, he was trained to work through injury, the minimum level of information relevant to answer the question he was asked.

Oh was this aimed at me? I just answered dviss’s question. I didn’t realize I was “bragging”.

That is an interesting reply. My post was in response to what Tortured had said, concerning war stuff. Did I reply to HCP? Did I say his name?

I did ask HCP a couple questions two hours before that, that he partially answered. He was a MP. That's cool. I even liked his reply, before I made my post.

And see what fast assumptions cause? I now see that John has posted this....

Read my above post....

TBF's post was about players talking about war; you switched the focus to vets talking about their service. Considering your prior post in the thread was responding to a vet who had mentioned his service, and that you deplored those who brag to boost their egos, my inference was fairly reasonable.
